The Regent and Deputy Regent of Bireuen Regency, H Mukhlis, ST - Ir H Razuardi, MT and related officials, handed over assistance to 90 orphans during a gathering and breaking fast together with the Regional Government and community elements, Friday, 3/21/2025 afternoon, in the yard of the Regent's Pendopo, Kota Juang District, Bireuen Regency, Aceh Province.
Present were Tgk H Nuruzzahri Yahya or Waled Nu Samalanga, Deputy Chairman of the Aceh People's Representative Council (DPR), Ir H Saifuddin Muhammad, as well as Forkopimda, former Regent of Bireuen, related officials, guests and invitees.
The chairman of the organizing committee, H Mulyadi, SH MM said that in this activity there were 90 orphans from a number of Gampong/Villages in Kota Juang District who were given assistance.
Meanwhile, to provide a menu for breaking the fast for around 5,000 guests and invitees and the community, in addition to the slaughtering of a cow by the Regional Government, takjil was also provided by 52 District Work Units (SKPK) including the Sub-district Head, located in the Bireuen Regency Government, he explained.
The committee presented a speaker, Tgk Irwansyah, Head of LPI Darul Qur'an Al Aziziyah, Samuti Rayeuk Village, Gandapura, Bireuen Regency. Also providing clean water from PDAM tankers for ablution water for Maghrib prayers at the pendopo, and also to the nearest meunasah, explained Mulyadi, also Assistant I of the District Secretariat.
The Regent of Bireuen, H Mukhlis, ST in his speech, among others, expressed his gratitude for the presence of the invited guests in the context of friendship, religious lectures and breaking the fast together.
This activity is one of the forums to strengthen ties and establish intimacy between the Bireuen Regency Government, related officials and all components of society.
"I hope that through activities like this, emotional relationships, especially in the Bireuen Regency Government environment, will be better, of course it will lead to improving the quality of service to the community in Bireuen Regency.
Hopefully, this momentum can be a good start in our leadership to build Bireuen Regency in the future, with the spirit of unity and collaboration that has been shown in this breaking of the fast together event," said Regent H Mukhlis.
