Act Of Kindness : Giving Happiness and Hope to the Kids

**“In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive."-Acts 20:35 **

As an officer of an organization in our company called "Team Sunshine", it is one of our duty to plan, allocate budget and initiate an annual outreach activity that we can do to give back to the community. Just before the pandemic strikes, we are fortunate to be granted approval to sponsor a Party to the children of Children's Haven Orphanage. This Orphanage is located in Tugbongan St., Pilipog, Cordova, 6017 Cebu, Philippines.

We are greeted with a warm welcome by the children when we arrive at the location.

The little children are very excited and wanting to play with us.

The atmosphere is enveloped with pure joy, peace and love. Happiness is literally around the corner during that time.

The children are having a lot of fun with the games that we prepared for them.

With all the fun and enthusiasm, the best part of the day is when the children receive the gifts that we prepared for them. Gifts that we personally prepared and wrapped with love.

And of course, we never forget to prepare a special meal for the children. In the Philippines, everyone knows "Jollibee" especially the children.

We go the extra mile to invite Jollibee himself to entertain the children.

Seeing the children's smiles during that day is more than a reward to the difficulties we went through during the preparation of this event. Like any other good times, bidding farewell is not very easy but we are sure we left good memories to this children as well as they imprinted a good memory to our hearts.
