Kemarin waktu lewat jalan yang menuju bandara Juanda, saya melihat dua orang pekerja yang sedang membersihkan saluran air (got) yang ada di depan sebuah toko.

Yesterday, while passing the road leading to Juanda airport, I saw two workers cleaning the sewer in front of a shop.

Mereka berdua terlihat santai tapi serius dalam mengerjakan pekerjaan itu. Padahal waktu saya lihat kondisi air yang ada di got itu, sangat kotor dan hitam bercampur "letek" (kalau orang Jawa ngomong), tanpa terlihat rasa jijik mereka tetap mengerjakannya.

Saya sempat berputar balik arah untuk mengambil fotonya dan dengan hati-hati saya berhenti diseberang jalan dengan jarak kurang lebih dua puluh lima meter dari mereka.

Sebenarnya ingin memotret mereka diam-diam dari jarak jauh, tapi salah satu pekerja melihat saya dan memberitahukan keberadaan saya yang lagi posisi memegang kamera.
