we are once again in the season of harmattan, it's a season when lips break, the sun is extra harsh, the weather becomes so dry during the day while at night it becomes extremely cold, at times water that is placed outdoor freeze up.

The harmattan season typically begins in late November, as Nigeria's dry season begins to end. The winds carry the sands and dust of the Sahara southward and pick up the loose crop soil of Nigeria's arid the northern Sahel with it.

on this day the 5th of December the Steven Keshi memorial cup is said to take place

Steven Keshi was once a footballer of the Nigeria national team and he was a one time coach until he passed on Keshi earned 60 caps for the Nigeria national team, making him the nation's second-most capped player at the time of his retirement.

He later coached his native Nigeria, where he became one of only two people, along with Egypt's Mahmoud El-Gohary, to have won the Africa Cup of Nations as both a player and a coach.

from December 1st to 5th a memorial tournament was scheduled to take place in remembrance of the falling hero and this time it was played in the city of Benin, the event was titled "the Event of the Big Boss" the tournament hosted 16 teams from all over the country with a range from 12-17years of age.

the 3rd place and the final was scared to take place and i had the opportunity to be among the officials, we saw some really good football and we gave our all to see a fair game out there today.
