Burnsteem25+Club70|| Diary Game|| December 18, 2022|| "Traveling Escapade at Naawan Misamis Oriental"

I was having a great time while ago when me and my friends are deciding to take a travel at Naawan. This place was abundance with many trees, beautiful sceneries and relaxing areas. We started to take a walk this morning and it is good to make it early because the surroundings are very cold and it is good form of exercises.

Naawan is far enough from our Municipality and it needs to walk a few hours before we arrived at the particular place.

As we arrived on the place, I seen this very old tree grows near at the stream. The roots are already clinging on a big stone at it was very fascinating to me. Many great floods has passed but still this tree stands strong not even a sign of being eroded. The residents of this place don't want to cut this trees down because according them, this will be very helpful to prevent the soil from being eroded brought by heavy rains and floods. The roots of this tree was very attractive, it touches the water that is why it was very abundant of water to zip. Some roots are being drown in the water and many fishes are making it as their habitats.

The streams is filled with many different kinds of stones just like this one. People are brought some stones from here to their houses to make a landscape. This stones are completely drown in the water for many years already specially if there is a big flood occur. This area was once a washing ground to all residents, this was filled with many water and they fetched water here for their animals, house chores cleaning up and other chores activities. The days has passed and the watery area is now a dry land and the only left was stones.

This is an old manggoe tree, according to my Grandmother, this tree was already 98 years old, I cannot imagine of it. This tree was already grown during world war ll and it still lives until this days. The branches are sometimes falling down and many insects can be found here in this tree. During manggoe seasons, people ignore to climb up this tree because it is very dangerous. It also gives a shady area and a warm place and many people loves to take a rest for a few minutes especially those residents who walks a long way.

There are also many kinds of wild plants located in this place just like this Alocasia Negra plants that grows in the middle of the forest. Many people especially those plant lovers would like to get that kind of plants but our Local Government prohibited and not to cut it. This belongs to endangered plants already.

This big bolders looks very interesting to me. Many plants grow on the top of this big stone and it came from upper place. This is a stip of the mountains and many rains has passed, the soil was completely soft to make that stone rolled down. It is very lucky that no one passed the road near at this place. We called this stones, silica one of the most needy ingredients of making cements. There are companies who search of this kind of stones and they make quarrying and brought to their factory for a process.

The last but not the least, this useful and important bridge to all residents here. They cannot crossed the place when there is a flood that time when no bridge. But theres a big organization who kindly make a bridge just for the people and this is very worth it to them. The bridge was made of steel and it and it is very strong built. The residents was very thankedful to organization who conduct a program just like this, putting a bridge on isolate areas.

I really love to share the wonderful places here in our Province and if people are always responsible and respect the Mother Nature, Im sure this will keep maintain it ls beautiful and relaxing place.
