Acting Regent Together with Bireuen Police Chief Launch Simultaneous Planting of Nutritious Food.

Acting (Pj) Regent of Bireuen, Jalaluddin SH MM together with the Chief of the Bireuen Police Resort (Kapolres), AKBP Jatmiko SH MH accompanied by elements of the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda) and related officials, Thursday, 2/1/2024, launched the simultaneous planting of nutritious food yards, a program of the Bireuen Police.

The activity took place in the yard in Makmur Hamlet, Lhok Awe Teungoh Village, Kota Juang District, Bireuen Regency, Aceh Province. The program is in order to support the Asta Cita of the President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

The types of plants planted together include lettuce, kale, spinach, shallots, tomatoes, red chilies and mustard greens.

Acting Village Head (Keuchik) of Lhok Awe Teungoh Village, Junaidi said that the community strongly supports the program pioneered by the Bireuen Police in order to increase food security towards Indonesia's food self-sufficiency.

The Lhok Awe Teungoh community, he said, strongly supports activities in the framework of the President and Vice President's Asta Cita.

"Previously, we have also implemented a food security program funded by village funds, namely planting shallots, there are also vegetable fields, chilies, catfish, and livestock for goat pens owned by residents," he said.

The acting village head hopes that the food security program can help improve the economy of residents, and hopes for guidance from the Acting Regent and the Chief of Police and related agencies for the sustainability of the program, this launching activity is a good initial program for their village.

Bireuen Police Chief, AKBP Jatmiko SH MH said that the simultaneous planting launch activity is the Bireuen Police's program I, land utilization for nutritious food programs to plant horticultural crops, the second program is the utilization of productive land planted with corn.

The purpose of the activity is to improve the community's economy. The Forkopimda strongly supports the food security program and is expected to be able to foster and improve the economic welfare of the community.

"We also hope for community support to support this program. We will also monitor it from the beginning of planting to harvest so that farmers do not suffer losses later," he said.

Acting Regent of Bireuen, Jalaluddin hopes to be able to work together and together in realizing regional food security, by developing all the local agricultural potential that we have, in order to reduce dependence on food imports and strengthen the local economy.

"Let's utilize the empty land around the house to plant various kinds of vegetables, such as chilies, corn and others to meet household needs and also support the food security program," he said.

The launching was attended by the Kajari Bireuen, represented by Muhammad Furqan Ismi SH as the Functional Prosecutor of the Bireuen Kejari, Kasdim 0111/Bireuen, Mayor Inf Rudiyanto, Deputy Chairperson III of the Bireuen DPRK, Muslem Abdullah.

Also present were the Head of Bireuen Regional Office, Abdul Hamid SPd MPd, the Heads of Units, Heads of Sections, Police Chiefs and personnel from the Bireuen Police, other related officials and invited guests as well as local village officials and the community.
