Bireuen Independent Election Commission (KIP) has determined 316,604 Permanent Voter Lists (DPT) from 17 sub-districts in the Regency for the implementation of the 2024 Pilkada. From the DPT, it was recorded that female voters were the most compared to male voters.
This was conveyed by the Bireuen KIP Commissioner for the Data and Information Division, Darmawan in the Open Plenary Meeting of the Recapitulation and Determination of the Permanent Voter List (DPT), Election of Governor and Deputy Governor of Aceh, Regent and Deputy Regent of Bireuen in 2024, at the Bireuen Jaya Hotel Hall, Friday, 20/9/2024.
"The Bireuen Independent Election Commission (KIP) today has determined 316,604 Permanent Voter Lists spread across 609 villages in 17 sub-districts," said Darmawan.
Darmawan added that the DPT consists of 152,740 male voters and 163,864 female voters and has 823 Polling Stations (TPS), including 1 Special TPS at the Class IIB Correctional Institution (LP) of Bireuen Regency.
The plenary meeting was attended by elements of the Forkopimda, the Head of the Bireuen Population and Civil Registration Service (Disdukcapil), PPK members from 17 sub-districts, Panwaslih commissioners, and other elements.
The plenary meeting began by submitting data from each sub-district one by one. If there were no objections, the data from other sub-districts was continued until finished.
The results of the plenary meeting determined the number of voters for the 2024 Pilkada in the DPT as many as 316,604 people, from 609 villages in 17 sub-districts.
The largest number of voters is in Peusangan with 69 villages, with a total of 38,403 people. Then followed by Kota Juang, from 23 villages the number of voters recorded was 34,088 people.
The third place is occupied by Jeumpa District, from 42 villages the number of voters is 26,644 people. Meanwhile, the district with the fewest voters in the DPT is Pandrah, where from 19 villages, the number of voters is only 6,403 people.
The second lowest is Peulimbang District, from 22 villages the number of voters is 8,791 people. The third place is Makmur District, from 27 villages the number of voters is only 11,464 people.
The plenary meeting was officially closed by the Commissioner of the Data and Information Division of the Bireuen KIP, Darmawan, and continued with the signing by the Chairperson of the Bireuen KIP, Saiful Hadi along with other Commissioners and continued with the submission of the DPT documents to representatives of the Bireuen Regent and Deputy Regent Candidate pairs.
