The Family Welfare Empowerment Mobilization Team (TP PKK) Gampong Geudong Geudong, Kota Juang District, Bireuen Regency held a Fardhu Kifayah training activity on corpse management which was held at Meunasah Gampong, Thursday 14 September 2023.
The event was opened by the General Chairperson of the Geudong-Geudong PKK TP, Nuraini, who in his speech said that this activity was part of the results of the regular Coordination Meeting and was included in the Development of the 10 PKK Main Programs which continued the implementation process from 2020.
"Today is filled with coaching for the Working Group (Pokja) in managing the Pancasila Appreciation and Practice program and the Mutual Cooperation Program," he said.
The resource persons for the coaching activities were Aminah and Mariani and two more colleagues who conveyed the theory and continued with the practice of carrying out the procedures for carrying out corpses.
Meanwhile, Keuchik Geudong Geudong, Fakhrial, hopes that the Gampong PKK members, especially the 9 cadres who were trained, will be able to understand and comprehend the responsibilities of Muslims towards people who have died.
Fakhrial added that this activity focused on the post-death process, starting in stages with washing and shrouding the body as well as other things that should be done in our task of completing Tajhid on the body.
Apart from that, the Chairman of Tuha Peut Gampong Geudong, Suherman Amin, said that there are four fardhu kifayah for Muslims who die, namely washing, shrouding, praying and burying.
And in accordance with the Keuchik's expectations, this activity focused on the process after death, how to bathe and shroud the body and other things that should be done with the body.
According to Pak Herman, Suherman Amin's nickname, it is better for young people to bathe because they are stronger physically and energetically.
Officers are advised by trustworthy people not to talk about the deceased's disgrace, one gender, someone who understands, is older and the most important thing is that the relatives of the corpse.
Bathing towards the Qibla, at least pouring water all over the body. "And beforehand cleaning the body is highly recommended by the immediate family and at the same time continuing with the ablution of the body," he said.

as well as 9 participant cadres who were recruited 3 people from each hamlet in Gampong Geudong Geudong.
