Two kiosks in the Jeunieb Terminal area, Jeunieb District, Bireuen Regency, Aceh, burned down on Tuesday, 11/2/2025 at around 01.00 WIB.
The quick assistance from residents and Bireuen fire engines (Damkar) prevented the fire from spreading and the fire was extinguished in a short time.
Two kiosks burned down, one selling es teler owned by Ayu Wandira (28), a resident of Janggot Seungko Village, Jeunieb District. Another kiosk selling nasi ayam penyet and other goods owned by Helmi (35), a resident of Jambo Dalam Village, Peulimbang District, Bireuen.
Dozens of residents when they saw the towering flames immediately came to help extinguish the fire. Then followed by Firefighters who swiftly tamed the fire.
The good collaboration between residents and the Fire Department made the fire quickly extinguished and did not spread to dozens of other kiosks near the location of the incident.
According to information at that time, it was approaching early morning, the area was not very crowded. Suddenly, several residents saw fire appearing in one of the kiosks. The fire quickly burned the building, residents immediately rushed to the location to help douse the fire with simple equipment.
Two fire engines from the Simpang Mamplam Assistant Post arrived at the location. Then, followed by two fire engines from the Bireuen City Main Post and one fire engine from the Juli District Assistant Post. PLN officers and local TNI-Polri personnel also came to the location of the fire.
After a while of handling, the fire was successfully extinguished by officers assisted by the community. As a result of the incident, the condition of two kiosks was burned along with their sales equipment.
