Diary Game|| December 18, 2022|| " Nature Traveling"

Good day everyone, its been a long time since I can't do any post here in this wonderful community because of Personal problems. But now, finally Im back again and creating a unique and wonderful posts here. Last day, I have a great time traveling to a peaceful and quite place here in Sitio Linangga Manticao, Misamis Oriental. This place contains many wild plants, trees , river , animals and insects. If we are talking about Sitio and Province, expected that we can many plants and animals and also landscapes also river and this are I want to share about.

The first picture that Im going to share is this clean river. This river gives a big parts to all residents because people fetched water here in the river for watering the plants, cleaning houses and other chores activities.

There are many kinds of bamboos located here in Sitio Linangga and some of this are this one. We called this bamboo, Buntong. It is good for house purposes just like walls and floors. Our house was built of bamboo walls and floors once and it was changed into wood floors. People planted many bamboos near at the river so that the place will not be eroded due to heavy rains and floods. Bamboos are fun with water and that is why, they were immediately multiplied because of the water comes from the river.

Some people used dried bamboos for firewoods or cooking purposes. It is very easy to burn and very light to carry specially if it dries already.

There are also big trees located in the place just like this one. We called this tree, Kaloot. The trunk is color white and this is one of materials by making matches. This is not good for furniture and houses purposes but people ignored and don't cut this tree to give shady place. This tree was already 65 years old according to the elders who lived the place for a long time. I am very amazed and impressed about the elders says. This tree can also protect the land from getting eroded and dried up.

The big roots are already comes out and it addends the beauty of the place. Our local Government urges all residents to plant more this kind of trees to help maintain the healthy environment.

I am so lucky that there was no rain during my Nature blog. As I seen the sky, it was full of gray and white clouds and to think this will going to rain in anytime. The place was at an old cow ranch here in our place. The owner of this place was in abroad and the only caretakers are one who takes the place while the owner was in other country.
