The Diary Game: 2nd February 2022 - Family Hike at Taman Rimba Bukit Kerinchi

Happy New Year to those who are celebrating! Hope you are all doing well. In this post, I would like to update about our day yesterday.

We woke up at usual time yesterday and get ready for our hiking trip. As the day was quite hot, we decided to drive thru breakfast at McDonald's on our way to Taman Rimba Bukit Kerinchi. We ordered one burger and nine pieces nuggets with barbecue sauce and shared among the three of us. We ate in the car and drove to the forest once finished eating.

Once arrived at the forest, we took a different path then our usual hike, just to check out on the trails. Previously, our preschooler always insisted on walking on the hanging bridge on our next hiking trip, so we made it happen this time!

As we walked on the bridge, we then joined back the trail that we always use to reach the viewpoint. The viewpoint is our preschooler's favourite checkpoint, as he can see the beautiful view and take picture with the Malaysian Flag.

Usually, we will continue hiking deep into the forest after the viewpoint. However, considering that the weather is very hot and we brought a smaller water bottle than usual, we decided to hike down again. We played some games on the way down, just to keep our preschooler energetic to walk on his own two feet.

After arriving at the car park, we went to A&W as the hot weather made us craving for some ice cream! We ate fried chicken, coney dog, ice cream waffle and chocolate vanilla sundae. I guess we gained the calories burned from hiking again :p

Then we went back home and perform prayers. After that, we took a nap and performed Asar prayer once we woke up.

As I had some work to do that night, we ordered food delivery for dinner. We had steamed rice with fried chicken and fruits for dinner. Then, we went for sleep at about 10p.m.

That was how our day went yesterday :)
