The Diary Game: 6th January 2022 - First Day of Kindergarten

Hope you are all doing well. It has been a while since my last post. I have been busy with my family, life and work during the year end and beginning of the year. Now, I will catch up again on Steemit!

Today, I would like to write about how my day went two days ago. Back then, it was the first day of kindergarten for my son! My husband and I were so proud and relieved that he did not even cry when we left him.

The first two days at kindergarten was only for 2.5 hours. Thus, my husband and I used that time for a quick breakfast date. We went to a restaurant called Village Park. My husband had his Nasi Lemak and I had my Nasi Dagang there.

We were done at about 9.45 a.m. My husband went to the bank for a while, before we went to our son's kindergarten. When we arrived at the kindergarten, we waited for a while until the gate was open. We were so glad that our son did not cry on his first day! In his bag, he had their first project made at kindergarten.

I asked my son what he drew. He said it was a scaredy face. I asked him why did he drew a scaredy face. He said he was scared without me around at kindergarten :p

After that, I did some work, before accompanying my husband to Digital Mall. He was surveying laptops for me, as the current one that I am using is a very, very old model, and need to be replaced soon.

Then, we performed prayers and went for early dinner at Ah Cheng Laksa in a nearby mall. I did my work until Maghrib and performed Maghrib prayer at a surau inside the mall.

After that, we went to University Malaya Medical Centre to pick up my mom. She was discharged that day. She stayed at the hospital for two nights due to Dengue, so we were all so happy that she got discharged.

Upon picking her up and settling the discharge procedures, we invited her to join us for a supper at Starbucks while I did my work again. She was so happy, she finished her cup of Cappucino and sandwich!

Then, we went back home and had a good rest. That was how my day went two days ago!
