Hello Steemians,

Hope you are all in a pink of health. As for our family, my husband was down with COVID-19 recently. My son and I were having symptoms but negative COVID-19 based on self test. In today's post, I would like to share about my day 6 days ago. I know, I need to catch up a lot!

We woke up late that day, as both my son and I were very tired. My son, of course, was tired due to his runny nose and cough. I, on the other hand, was mentally & physically tired because on top of my work, I had to monitor my husband's health while he was having his home quarantine and taking care of my 4-year-old son who was having symptoms (but negative COVID based on the self test result, alhamdulillah).

Soon after we woke up, we made Tortilla Chips with Honey Dip for breakfast. My son requested this yesterday. It is his favourite food, so he ate a lot!

Then, I started on my gaming work. I can tell you firsthand that it is not easy to work with kids, more so of they are under home quarantine. My gaming work, especially, requires a lot of thinking and focus, but just imagine while you were thinking, a 4-year-old suddenly said "Ibu look, I drew our house", or "Ibu, what comes after 37?" and possibly 1001 other questions or remarks 😅 As a result, my gaming win rate is a bit low today.. but hey, as long as my son is happy even when he is sick, I shouldn't be complaining!

We use this golden time to ask my son to do his homework. It's the school holiday, and so loads of homework to be done, probably because we joined on January, when the school session is postponed to March this year 😋 But because we already planned ahead and make installments since October last year, we just proceed with our plan. Besides, it shouldn't be too stressful for him because he can already read and count to 100 before starting kindergarten. We just enroll him so that he can socialise more, because he's an extrovert and is happiest when meeting people 😊

I then continued my work, while my husband, during his isolation, registered for my son's Standard 1 session online. However, because there are some vaccination details needed, he saved the incomplete registration online and asked me to continue on the remaining.

My work ends at about 10p.m. Then, I started to look into the school registration. It was very time consuming, and I only settled the registration past midnight.

And that was how my day went 6 days ago.
