Diary Game || July 19, 2021 - Visiting Our Endocrinologist

For the past 3years, me and my husband was diagnosed with diabetes. Quarterly, we had our sugar monitoring with laboratories and check-up with our endocrinologist -a doctor who is specialized related to sugar problems.

Today, I woke up around 7 o'clock in the morning. First I check our week old two pups if okay - Mocha and Choco.

Right away I prepare the food for our dogs and cats because today is our scheduled visit to our endocrinologist. I need to finish our early routine so that we could depart our home early since it is a 2-hour drive going to the Chong Hua Medical Arts - the hospital where our doctor is having clinic.

Around 10 o'clock in the morning when dogfood are ready, I wake my husband to ask some assistance feeding our dogs and cats. While waiting the dogfood to be serve because it is still hot he reheated the pizza leftover which he baked last night as our dinner. I prepare our coffee. After eating our breakfast, coffee and a pizza leftover, we started to assemble now our fur babies food. I mix the cooked corn grits and meat sawdust, while him doing the cleaning of the dog and cat plates. I feed our rooster. He feed our 20 ducks and 10 ducklings.

At 12:00 noon, we're done with the chores. We head to bath and prepare ourselves to go. At 1:00 o'clock, we we're able to leave the house and head to Cebu City but we have our stop overs. We drive thru at Mc Donald's for a cup of brewed coffee and grab some lunch.

Because of unexpected traffic jam, we arrive at the clinic around 4:30 in the afternoon. We almost not able to get our check-up slot because we arrive beyond cut - off time. I and my husband did not give - up, we waited for the doctor to finish up to her last patient and be able to have our turn which I was so happy that she consider us. We finish our visit at 8:30 in the evening. Right after our visit we head right away to the nearest provincial hospital - VSCMC where DOH is located who sells very affordable medicines - a government owned pharmacy.

After we secure our 3 vial of insulin,good for 3 month consumption we transfer to another pharmacy since not all medicines are available at DOH. 9:30 in the evening when we are done with our errand we head home.

When we arrive home it is almost 11:00 in the evening, immediately we prepare and feed again our fur babies, roster and ducks. So I guess, that's how our long day ends.
