I had a very long day today. Allow me to share my today's activity. I woke up at 6:30 in the morning. I do my usual routine first before starting doing my household chores - devotion time. It is also my routine everyday to prepare food for our pets and for us.
While waiting the food to cool down before feeding to my dogs I did prepare my laundry. After preparing, I start preparing and feed my pets. While my husband is still asleep, usually I don't wake him early if it is weekends because that's the only days he can sleep longer. So I attend again my laundry and start washing. After finishing my laundry , hang it then I started to feel hungry I did wake up my husband and invite him to eat breakfast and of course with coffee.
I rested for 10 minutes after eating our breakfast, Then I rehabilitate my plants because some of it are withering already.

I prepare to bathe my pets. Before when are not yet living with my husband father's house I usually bathe them weekly, but our place has water shortage that we need to buy water every other two days which cost 2-3 Steem per 200 liter, so I bathe them sometime two weeks interval or there was one time I don't have a choice but make it once a month because water is so expensive in our place. I finished bathing the 6 dogs around 5:00 o'clock in the afternoon, I bathe only 6 because I no longer have enough water I still need to reserve for cleaning our dishes, cooking and bathing ourselves.
I head to bathe myself after cleaning my dogs. I prepare myself again to retrieve my dry laundry, start folding and keep in the drawers. I cooked dinner around 7:30 in the evening after folding my laundry. Feed our pets again eat dinner and ending my busy day visiting steemit by upvoting, resteeming and commenting my fellow steemians quality posts.

Is it summer in your area or is it because of soil conditions that cause water to become scarce?

Summer is almost ending in our area. We are having water shortage in our area because local water supplier since pandemic started no longer supply enough water in our community but they keep us billed. So we don't have a choice but to buy water from small business individuals who delivers water in our area every morning and much costly than that of who usually supplies water to the community.
It was not like this before, when it has no pandemic yet. We already made complaints to their hotline but no response. I guess we just need to adjust for the main time for this situation. We are hoping to maybe this will come back to normal anytime soon.

🙏🙏🙏 We are not loosing hope. Because if it goes back to normal like we can save 50-60 Steem a month for water consumption. We only pay average 10-15steem a month for this local supplier. And you know what? Right before I slept this dawn, our water flowed and we able to store 2 big drums consist of 200liters each. 🤗 Hopefully this will be the start. 🙏🙏🙏 We were so happy.

is it possible to dig your own well there @traderpaw? I don't know whether having a well or soil water as water resources is a kinda common thing to have in your area. My hometown is close to the sea, so we have a little salty and muddy water in our well... but it works quite good for daily needs (excepts cooking)

We do have like that here in our area. Same as yours, we are near in the sea. But our local government has issued an ordinance that prohibit to do it because it can cause damage to potable water streams under ground. Might the level of sea water and the potable water will be mixed up. That's what I know, why the local government issued ordinance. If your going to pursue it, you need to secure permits and pay big. :-(

that's a pity... in many different regions in my country especially my hometown (@anroja also the same) every house has a well, because the water services from government is so awful, the water is muddy (usually taken from river and distillate or filtered before sending out to customers. in several places at least we have a public well too.
we live surrounded by water but we always have a problem when we need water, your information reminds me to not waste the water like it'd never gone.
