Meunasah of Cot Dua hamlet | Working together to prepare for Ramadan 1446 H

Dear friends, starting the day by saying Alhamdulillah as a form of gratitude to Allah SWT. What are you doing?, hopefully in good condition.

Front of the mosque

Meunasah is one of the places of worship and a place of musyarawah that is considered a child of the mosque. Usually the meunasah is built in every hamlet in the village, but it is more focused on the larger hamlets that are far from the mosque. All community matters in the hamlet will be discussed in the meunasah, if it cannot be resolved, it will be submitted to the village.

The meunasah of Cot Dua hamlet is one of the larger meunasahs in Blang Karieng village. All worship activities such as tarawih prayers, Eid prayers, recitations and so on are generally carried out in this meunasah, but specifically for the people of Cot Dua hamlet, but not with Friday prayers, which are still required to be carried out at the Blang Karieng mosque.

𝖲𝗎𝗇𝖽𝖺𝗒 𝖥𝖾𝖻𝗋𝗎𝖺𝗋𝗒 02, 2025

Cot Dua hamlet, Blang Karieng village, Nisam sub-district, North Aceh district, held a mutual cooperation event to prepare for the holy month of Ramdhan 1446 H which is less than a month away. This gotong royong was planned a few weeks ago through a general meeting of the Cot Dua hamlet community. On the advice and input from the community for the hamlet head who was just elected and inaugurated in early 2025, the theme of change was applied. The community strives to make changes to the Cot Dua hamlet government so that it will be better in the future and even be able to want to be the best hamlet among the other 5 hamlets in Blang Karieng village.

On this basis, the people of Cot Dua hamlet held a mutual cooperation to improve the facilities and infrastructure of Cot Dua hamlet. On this day there are several agendas in mutual cooperation, including:

• Plastering the stairs from the Cot Dua Meunasah building
• Making a concrete road connecting the Wudhuk place and Meunasah stairs.
• Activating the new toilet and removing the old toilet.
• Activating the new wudhuk place and the old one is still left active
• Improve electricity and clean water lines
• Repairing the sewage line
• Tidying up the Meunasah courtyard by clearing the weeds
• and so on.

Some of the pictures displayed above include some of the activities of the Cot Dua hamlet community who are working together. There are residents who are working to pull the soil and tidy it up, some are making a connecting road between the stairs and the wudhuk place, some are repairing the stairs, some are cutting the grass.

It should be noted, all the people present were not paid, but the enthusiasm of all the people to serve and improve their beloved hamlet. They all took the time and left their personal work to improve meunasah Cot Dua. The hamlet head targeted just one day to take the community's time for gotong royong, because he knew that he would not disturb the community with his personal work.

For the presence of the community and sincerity in this gotong royong, the hamlet head and other village officials would like to thank the community, without a community that loves their hamlet and village, all will not be realized properly. Hopefully, in the future, they will remain united and can continue to work together in improving the hamlet and generally improving the village.
