The Genesis of Binance Smart Chain
The Binance Smart Chain first rolled out in September 2020 as a kind of parallel sidechain to the mainnet. Binance Chain is high in performance (fast trading) but low in flexibility for dApps. To solve this limitation, BSC was created to support smart contracts and higher scalability.

Transaction Speeds: BSC Is built for high throughput, KTP; it focuses on TPS rather than anything else This scalability overcomes growing tendencies to develop multiple dApps and DeFi projects.
Healthy Ecosystem: BSC supports a rich ecosystem, including decentralized exchanges (DEX), lending protocols and farming opportunities such as NFT markets. The ecosystem is built on Binance, which has its own powerful resources and user base.
Binance Smart Chain has been one of the most significant blockchain creations that have provided a high-performance platform for DeFi, NFTs, gaming and many more use cases. It is known for being compatible with Ethereum, having very low transaction fees and a large developer/user base due to it's more comprehensive ecosystem. If BSC can adapt and better meet its challenges, it has the potential to help shape the future of decentralized applications and finance.
