Aloha
In Hawaiian language, Aloha means both Hello and Goodbye, as each is an expression of fondness for someone else.
Ma ka ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi, ʻo ke Aloha, ke aloha a me ke aloha, no ka mea, he hōʻike ia no ke aloha no kekahi.
But Aloha means so much more. Aloha is way of thinking and treating others; love, peace, compassion, understanding and respect. Aloha means harmony between people and between people and both the land, sea and the plants and creatures who live here too. It is also characterized by mercy, sympathy, grace, and kindness.
Akā ʻoi aku ka manaʻo o ke Aloha. Aloha ke ʻano o ka noʻonoʻo a mālama ʻana i nā poʻe ʻē aʻe; ke aloha, ka maluhia, ke aloha, ka hoʻomaopopo a me ka mahalo. Aloha ke ʻano o ka lokahi ma waena o ka poʻe a ma waena o ka poʻe a me ka ʻāina, ke kai a me nā mea kanu a me nā mea ola e noho ana ma aneʻi pū kekahi. Hoʻohālikelike ʻia ia e ke aloha, ka minamina, ka lokomaikaʻi, a me ka lokomaikaʻi.
Aloha.,
