My Application for Country Representative @shortsegments

This is my application for Country Representative for USA-Hawaii (United States - Pacific Islands Region of Hawaii) While the Hawaii is a part of the a United States. It existed as a separate Nation for 800 years, becoming part of the USA in the late 1800’s and a State in 1959. Geographically Hawaii is 5000 miles or more from the North American continent and mainland United States. It is my request that you would approve a regional Country Representative for Hawaii, where we have ten active Steemians.

Activity and Networking

As you can see from the Www.Steemworld screen shots below, the group is active in publishing posts.
Second you will see from the screen shots of one recent post from 8 members this week they are actively supporting each other’s posts with upvotes too (also).

If my application is approved, I request that the 5000 SP delegation be awarded to my separate account @hawaiipolynesia This division is to insure the SP delegation is used only to reward, retain and recruit our country members, and build up the SP of this account.

Initial Plan

My plan is to encourage retention and activity by increasing the rewards for the posts. Then encourage these nine to recruit one new person per month, with a goal of 40 members in six months.

Longterm Plans

I plan to create YouTube videos or dlive videos for our Hawai’i Steemit remote meetups, award prizes for productivity like t-shirts and pens with Steemit Logo. Eventually we would have outdoor meetings with masks and social distancing, along with door prizes and take out snacks at the end. My eventual long term goal is to host a Steemit International Meetup in Hawai’i, which is a very popular international tourist destination.
