Fig fruit
Fig is a edible fruit and ornamental plant. Family of moraceae. Fig is not grown all over the world.Fig eaten fresh or dried also used in jam, sweet dish, biscuits etc. Figs are the earliest fruit man grew. Figs are not available through out the year but available in dried form.

Dried Figs
Dried figs known as enjeer are rich in dietary fiber. It prevent constipation and other digestive problems. Dried figs are ideal snack used to lose weight. Dried figs are great for restoration balance and prevent hypertension. One dried fig have 129mg of potassium and 2mg of sodium. Dried figs are rich in antioxidants. Fired fig can strengthen and stronger you bones. One dried fig contain 3% calcium.

Fresh Figs are available from June to September. Vitamin A, B and C. Helped in proper body functioning.
