if you're still going to criticized,so then let me tell you that you can't control someone's bad and negative behaviour.
you can't stop are control their Dark side of mind nor you change them, just leave them with their narrow minds having negative thoughts.

You are responsible for your own self not others bad behaviour or negative thoughts.You can't change their bad image but you can change your thoughts and the way of living to raise your status higher and higher, don't let yourself down by other's peoples judgement.

Peoples can judge you criticized you shout at you can behave bad with you but they can't compete with you at which level you are standing.If you ever feel that someone is dragging you then don't care about that foolish person as by doing this soon he will be dragged out by his fellows,just wait and watch.

You are the real hero of your own life create the history so that people may remember you for the rest of life, raise your standard high but down towards the earth, don't be arrogant but be enough strong.

And at last I'll just say that it's not too late to start your life journey again,it's never too late for a new beginning in your life, Always Stay positive changes are inside your mind keep on moving keep on rolling the Dice of hard work, surely you will get positive responses soon.
