Key Points to be discuss with OIC members countries by Islamic Emarat of Afghanistan in the OIC conference in Islamabad.
As we know that Afghanistan is going through a difficult and devastating economic situations, humanitarian crisis. On one side none of the country ready to recognize Islamic Emarat of Afghanistan. On the other side US freezed Afghans assets, IMF and world bank postponed all their financial aids, So the people of Afghanistan is going through a life threatening stage.
OIC conference us going to be held in Pakistan, in which the foreign Ministers of the Islamic countries are taking part, even the representatives of US, Russia, France and Britain along with European Union, world bank and UN relevent relief agencies
representatives have also been invited.
Its the best opportunity for IEA foreign Minister H.E Amir Khan Muttaqi to convey their message and satisfied Muslim world as well as other countries, H.E IEA foreign Minister may consider the following important headings to discuss with Islamic countries foreign ministers and with the representatives of US, European union, UN and world bank.
First and utmost issue to be discuss with the OIC member countries, is the recognition of new Government of Afghanistan. It could be better to Talk about the political system in Afghanistan that will be acceptable for the Muslim world and other countries that may pave the way towards recognition of IEA.
Secondly, raise the issue and demand from the OIC members countries to help them unfreeze the assets of Afghans. Should counsult with US in this regard and demand from US to unfreeze the assets because the situation in Afghanistan is deteriorating not only the government facing the challenges but people of Afghanistan facing problems and majority of them are at the verge of starvations. Financial sanctions may also affect education, both of male and female, because public universities expenses should be bear by the government, and if there is financial crisis in a country, how the education Sector may run.
Third, OIC members countries should do Financial contracts with the new Government of Afghanistan, i.e extracting minerals, construction and building roads, in energy etc.
Fourth, Provide safe ways to export products of Afghanistan in the market of Muslim world and let Afghan traders sell their products in their markets, which will help the new Government to take out of this financial crises
Fifth, As all OIC members countries are the part of Islamic development bank, IEA May demand from them to Urge Islamic development bank to financially support Afghanistan in this floundering and dire economic and humanitarian situations, and the most important to support Afghanistan banking sector to prevent it from collapsing.
Sixth, OIC members countries may consider to provide Scholarships to Afghan students to get higher education in their Countries.
Seventh, Demand from OIC to held a conference in Afghanistan as well. it will create a positive image to world.
