Hello friends, how are you and your family doing? I hope great. We are already in the last week of season 2 engagement challenge contest, and everything is just moving on smoothly. So like the contest topic which is all about the weather season which I will like to put down my own season but firstly I will like to give a definition of weather and types of weather before I will proceed to the contest topic.

Weather is the atmospheric condition of a particular moment in time. This includes things such as heat, dryness, wind, or amount of sunshine.

We have different types of weather which are

• sunny
• rainy
• windy
• stormy
• cloudy.

This question is a very important one. Weather has a massive affect on peoples daily lives. For example, it is raining in my area and when I took my umbrella outside the road was so empty I see far fewer vehicle and the transport buses were empty without passenger, this happen yesterday then the few people that were outside was wearing warmer clothing than they normally do, and I didn't make any attempt to be outside because every where was flooded so I hurry and went back home.

So since we are on the topic of weather, I will like to discuss climate too. It is commonly said, climate is what you predict and weather is what you get. This is another way of defining weather to represents the conditions at a specific location on a specific day, while climate is the average conditions over many years. Both have a great impact on our livinghood, but climate move to affect lifestyle, culture, social structure, and whereas weather affects daily choices such as those described above. Weather and climate to a large degree determine how we stay warm enough to survive, how we stay comfortable, what type of clothing we wear, what modes of transportation we use, what resources (such as water and trees) are plentiful or rare and what foods we can grow and eat in an area.

Weather sometimes has some less noticeable affects on the way we live, too. For example, weather at times control the ocean also control the land. If you observe during storms, you will notice bigger waves that carry away more sand from our beaches and can pull down thick forests, washing monstrous mats of drift kelp onto the beaches. If you are a SCUBA diver or surfer, these factors will have an major effect on your recreational life. Storms also cause a lot of drain away to wash dirt from streets into rivers and streams and out to the ocean, where they may have an collision on bacteria levels in the ocean many surfers supposedly get sick from bacteria in the water after tremendous storms. Weather Condition can also control fish populations in some areas and have a much effect on fishermen that harvest these fish and the fish lovers.

Another aspect of weather that has a great effect on our lives is major weather events, such as hurricanes, droughts, fires, floods, heat waves, or cold snaps and winter storms. For example, about a dozen people died last year in La Conchita when an anomalously wet rain season caused landslides that buried several houses. Some of these extreme events may be consequences of climate change caused by humans and the burning of fossil fuels, while others are just periodic events that happen very not often. In many cases, these extreme events are more disastrous now due to higher human populations. For instance, droughts that cause crops to fail and water sources to dry up are on the face of it harder on areas with many people to feed and water than on areas with fewer people.

Weather affects us in a enormous number of ways. Climate control the growth of crops, thus influencing the availability and kind of food we eat. variation in weather for example dry spells, wet spells also affect crops. Weather also affects the clothes we put on, I can't think of any other thing we do that weather doesn't have a strong effect on.

Weather is very important in people's lives in many independent ways. Weather, including thunderstorms, winds, tornadoes and hurricanes is really just the earth's way of spreading heat around its surface.

Weather is one of the most important thing that can happen to people but is in many different ways, but I will just mentioned few points

• Weather is in charge of the distribution of rain water on earth. All living organisms on earth call for liquid water to survive, and humans needs fresh water for drinking and agriculture (growing crops for food). Droughts can have a more impact on humans and have killed millions of people throughout history.

• "Severe" weather such as hurricanes, tornadoes, and floods have a much impact on human civilizations. An clear example of this was Hurricane Katrina, which influence a huge are of the gulf coast of the U.S., killed almost two thousand people, and supersede over one million people from their homes.

• weather has also played an important role in the distributions of humans on earth and the enlargement of conflicting cultures. The climate eventually influence if an area will be nice for people to inhabit. Throughout history, climate has transform migrations of humans over the earth. For example, there is a carry all before one idea in archaeology that humans migrated into North America from Asia during a time of colder climate and lower sea level.

There are so many other ways that weather is important in people's lives; these are just a few points of mine.

I Personally love windy weather because it makes everyday dries up !!
Yes,I really enjoy windy days,especially in summer. There is something about a gusty day that elevate my spirits. Mosquitoes are not strong to flys, so a bit of wind keeps them away. I so much like it’s cooling effect when I am doing some work outside. In winter, wind can really be a problem, because as the wind gets staunch, so does the wind chill factor, which measures how fast unprotected skin freezes.

presently I bass in southeastern Nigeria.

Is a gathering station for palm oil and kernels, it is also a local trade centre for yams, cassava palm produce for an area populate mainly by the Ibibio people

The wet season is exceptionally noticeable on the south-eastern coast, where annual rainfall extend about 130 inches (330cm), where temperatures infrequently exceed 90F (32C).

Before I proceed I will like to let you know that I am in Africa and Nigeria to be precised. We have only two major seasons. Which is

• the Rainy season
• and the dry season.
  Rainy or wet season is mostly consummate between the months of March to October and dry season some time take place from November to February. Although there are slim deviation from place to place.

This two seasons equally have their advantages and disadvantages but dry seasons is my best season. I don't know if is because I was born in October and that was the dry season.

• No matter how cold the dry season may be most especially during the harmattan, as long as you're well covered in a comfortable blanket or a good sweater that is if you have to step out. You're good to go. I dislike rains and the kind of cold and some of the health challenge it comes with.

• Dry air. There's a more lot of dry air during the dry season. This is very good because farm produce could dry faster and clothes too.

• You can't experience floods in the street.

• No matter how hot the the weather is, you can use umbrella to cover yourself on sunny days.

• abundant growth of grassed. During the dry seasons, grasses dry and leaves turn brown too haven finalize their yearly circle.

• Dry season encourages family get-together within the compound for those living in family houses and children play the Moon light play too.

• During dry season so many event took place because they will be obstructed by the rain.

In my place there is nothing like rituals celebration, the only thing that happened is during festive period a lot of cultural display take place

Example of clothes I put on during dry season

I like wearing Linen and light cotton fabrics because they are my ideal clothes for hot and dry weather.
Linen is made from raw flax fibers that are against heat and also is not heavy when wearing it.
Cotton is also good because it gives space for airiness, and it will make you cool in the dry heat.

Raining season is one of the season I hate too much, so during this season I put on heavy clothes Expercially in the morning hours.

Weather is doubted the most critical aspect in regulating agricultural productivity. This is because the generality of field crops require soil, water, air, and sunlight to grow and they rely on the weather to deliver the same. As a result, food availability, accessibility, and quality are been affected by climate change. Hence, forbearing and executing effective dry season food production method become a desideratum for every farmer

Dry season is a season for vegetable, tomatoes, cucumber, onions, carrots, okra, garden egg, melon, etc. All this food I mentioned are my favorite food.

Dry season fruit are my favorite fruit because it build the immune system, hydrate and nourish the system.

• watermelon: water melon keep the body hydrated and gives energy and help to clean out toxins from the body. The fibre content in water melon is good for the digestive system and it prevents constipation. Watermelons are rich in Vitamin A that strengthens the eye muscles and protects them from damage.

• Apples: Apples are very rich in dietary fibre, antioxidants and flavanoids. Is the very good source of Vitamin B-complex vitamins. It also have a little amount of potassium, calcium, and phosphorus.

• Pawpaw: is an all-round summer fruit, is favourable both as an application externally and can be ingest as a medicinal fruit too. Pawpaw is known to calm sunburn and reduce the tawny. Papaya accommodate an enzyme called papain which helps in digestion.

• Cucumber: Cucumber is one of the best things that kids can consume in summers. Since it consist of 95 percent of water, they are very hydrating, it is recommended for kids in summers. They also advance fibre and are helpful in alleviate constipation.

This question has made me ask about 5 people in my area what season do they like most and almost all of them prefer dry season. One person said that dry season doesn't disturb you from going out and the other person said it makes her business flow very well.
