In fact, people's physical and psychological conditions are inseparable. Frequent scolding and long-term high tension and mental depression will affect the secretion of growth hormone in children, resulting in abnormal height development. This is called mentally deprived shortness.

There is a hypothalamus in the human brain, which can stimulate the production of growth hormone according to the signals from the neural network. When the child is growing up, the height of the child is in the development process, and the growth hormone level determines the child's height development.

Father's yelling has a greater negative impact on children than mother's yelling.

Being scolded will make you shorter, and being spanked can improve your IQ? Take stock of the child-raising knowledge that you don’t know

The yelling of the father at the child is worse than the yelling of the mother. Because mothers yell at their children, usually because of life habits and other issues, and fathers yell at their children, often whether the child obeys themselves and whether it harms the parent’s authority. At this time, the child is more likely to absorb violence. Rebellion and addiction appear.

Can physical punishment of children improve their IQ?

In fact, this conclusion was drawn by the Lucerne School of Psychology in Switzerland in an experiment. His experiment brought a group of college students. They had average grades, but after being spanked, their memory and their grades improved greatly. So they It is believed that when a person is spanked, in order to reduce the body’s painful endorphine secretion, the secretion of adrenaline will increase, and the combination of endorphin and epinephrine will increase IQ...

Seeing this, some netizens said: "No wonder when my parents beat me when I was young, they always said that they beat me for my own good."

However, this experiment cannot be an excuse for adults to educate their children with sticks.

The results of an experiment conducted on 1,510 children in the United States showed that children who had not been subjected to physical punishment had an average IQ score of 28 higher than children who were frequently beaten. This is the conclusion they reached after 4 years of follow-up, and the previous conclusion exactly the opposite.

Good read. I am fairly successful in my career, however I noticed I am a high achiever and resulted in anxiety. Always looking for acknowledgement. This due to abusive mother and always yelled and ripped up my assignments because they were never good enough. My mother recently apologized for being abusive. I feel my anxiety and depression disappear and reappear from when I feel belittled. I can hold onto these emotions for days and not handle the comments well. I will reverse the cycle for my daughter and support her at a early age rather than mistreat.
