It is no exaggeration to say that it is a miracle. This is a scene where the forest who used to walk with disabilities rely on pincers to run excitedly. meanwhile, I feel joy every time I see a scene, it cannot be peeled and broken. Miraculously overcoming physical obstacles, living confidently as if he was handicapped.
This is the reason why I have not lost my dream of walking even though I have been living with a disability for more than 30 years. I believe in the power of miracles and my heart keeps beating, so I can't throw it away. and even if nothing miracles happen to me, I always dream of becoming a dynamic disabled person.
But some time ago, I saw a post that matched that wish. There is news that a designer in New York decided that there was a problem with an existing defect mark and came up with a new design.
Surely the figure on the right looks lively and active. This is similar to the appearance of the seniors I saw in my school days. they are also active and appear far from the darkness of incompetence. It is beautiful and extraordinary to play as the national team because they have not enjoyed enough sports that are difficult for non-disabled people to do, such as wheelchair athletics, wheelchair basketball and wheelchair tennis.
But in the corner of my mind, there was always the idea that active life was not only given to them, but should exist equally for all disabled people on this earth. To me, this news is like rain on dry land.
The body and brain of a disabled person may be limited by speaking calmly. However, there shouldn't be a situation where you can't even choose something other than that.
In other words, even with the assumption that the abilities of persons with disabilities are limited, it is necessary to provide opportunities for them to do anything according to the individual's abilities. therefore, it can be argued that previously visible characteristics of a person with disabilities also reflect this social aspect. In a sense, this newly created defect sign is truly happy because it has a strong meaning to change and re-enforce existing conventional wisdom.
Even better, knowing the designer's intentions, the people themselves transformed them one by one with a new brand. I hope they measure the case as soon as possible. some argue that changing the sign will make a big difference, but I think the effect of the change could be significant, assuming that title controversies like the disabled / disabled are still sharply faced, and we see it every day.
