	Destiny or Chance

Our life is like a river. It often flows calmly, sometimes it goes rough, and sometimes it follows a different track. I am a Bangladeshi girl. People in our society say that a girl’s life is controlled by destiny. I don't think there's anything more powerful than effort and determination.

Since I was very little till now I remember seeing how women encounter so many restrictions in our BD society. My mother always said, "Find your own way," if you truly want something". My mother and my family have been my guide in life.

When I started to write on the Steemit platform and shared my creativity, it was a little step to do something for me. I was scared at first, will people read my posts? Will they appreciate my work? But my each post was a reminder that success doesn't come in waiting for luck. The trut is hard work and believing in myself will bring a fruitful result for us.

I cannot deny that destiny is part of our life. As a Muslim I believe in destiny. My family helps me study, maybe i would not have been able to study or accomplish what I have right now if they did not support me. I am thankful to Allah for my family because I use the opportunity that my family give to me and I see them as a blessing.

In some of my life's moments , in every aspect i was hopeless. I always belived that I needed to create my own way to find hope and happiness. I think about the future and work to make it brighter. Though life isn’t always easy, we can come to create our own life through our own action.

I think life is more than just destiny. It’s both destiny and effort. We may have opportunities that destiny gave us, but it’s up to us how we use them. I would not have done anything if I were to have just waited for destiny. I keep trying, and always will.

I think our future shapes as a result of our actions and decisions. A door may open by destiny but we need the courage to walk through.

Is my life already written, or will I write my own way? I think it’s a mix of both. Destiny could have pointed the way but nothing to get me up that path, until my will and my strength, carried me.
