Hello and welcome to my blog. I hope you are all doing well and enjoying this season of engagement challange. Today I am writing about a creative task set by community Shine with steem. Let's go:

What are the most recurring thoughts in your mind while you drink your first coffee in the morning?

When I take my first sip of coffee in the morning, I focus on appreciating the taste. I've been practicing mindfulness for some time now, and I've noticed that often, knowingly or unknowingly, I'm so preoccupied with the day's events that I struggle to concentrate on the present. This introspection led me to practice mindfulness and enjoy the present. So, while taking the first sip in the morning, I first appreciate the taste of the coffee and its contents. I try to identify if there's any spice or a different brand of milk used.

Furthermore, I also think of the tasks I need to complete during the day. As a station in-charge, I also consider the work I need to assign to other section members. Besides thinking, I also plan how to execute the daily chores at work.

Additionally, I reflect on the previous day's targets and goals achieved. I also anticipate and plan the work that needs to be done to avoid long-term burdens. I try to find ways to address mistakes made yesterday to improve today.

Do you think coffee is positive in our lives, or is it a habit that should be replaced? Share your experience.

Coffee itself is not a bad habit. I believe the timing of coffee can be adjusted according to daily needs. I prefer not to take coffee on an empty stomach in the morning. Instead, I opt for a cup of milk. Coffee is a stimulant and provides the energy needed to perform daily tasks efficiently.

I avoid taking coffee in the morning because the level of steroid hormones in our body is slightly higher, leading to higher blood pressure. Therefore, drinking coffee in the morning can slightly increase blood pressure. Moreover, consuming any beverage on an empty stomach is not good for stomach health. So, I avoid coffee on an empty stomach and prefer to take it later at my workplace to stay awake and productive.

What else can you do with coffee besides drinking it?

Here are some uses of coffee other than as a beverage:

  • Coffee can be used as a coloring agent for hair, making it shine. I've seen my aunt and uncle use it for this purpose.

  • Coffee grounds can be used as a scrub to remove dead skin. This property is due to the texture of the coffee grains.

  • Coffee acts as a dyeing agent for fabrics and paper. Unlike chemical dyes, coffee is eco-friendly and serves this purpose well.

  • Some people like the smell of coffee and add coffee grounds to candle wax, making the candles emit a coffee scent. Similarly, coffee is used as an air freshener in rooms or cars.

  • I've seen neighbors use coffee grounds to remove pests from their pets by rubbing the grounds on their fur after bathing them.

  • Coffee grounds can be added to compost to create a nitrogen-rich fertilizer.

In a pot or a coffee maker, there are several ways to make coffee. How do you prepare coffee at home? Don’t forget to share your photograph with your coffee cup.

Honestly, I'm not very fond of coffee, so I don’t own a coffee grinder. Here’s how I prepare my coffee manually:

My coffee

  • Place one teaspoon of coffee in half a cup of water and grind it with a spoon until it forms an emulsion with a sand-like texture.

  • Heat the required amount of milk in a container until it reaches a rolling boil.

  • Add the desired amount of sugar to the milk and allow it to dissolve properly.

  • Add the coffee paste to the boiling milk, stir, and wait for half a minute for it to mix properly.

  • Within a minute, your coffee is ready to be served in your favorite coffee mug.

What comes to your mind when you read the phrase "I hope it rains coffee in the countryside"?

The phrase "I hope it rains coffee in the countryside," from the song "Ojalá que llueva café" by Juan Luis Guerra, has diverse meanings. It evokes a sense of optimism and prosperity for people in the countryside. It reminds me that people in rural areas often have fewer opportunities compared to those in cities. It makes me understand why people migrate from rural areas to cities for better prospects.

It also makes me appreciate the hard work and efforts that villagers put in to succeed, in contrast to city dwellers who often enjoy more luxurious lives.

Metaphorically, the phrase ignites a sense of hope and prosperity, encouraging perseverance through hardships. It conveys the message that one should not be discouraged by life's challenges but face them with enthusiasm and hope for a bright future.

So nice .

Hello, I like the content, so I tell you I moderated the consumption of coffee for blood pressure, I began to notice certain symptoms including tachycardia, it made me anxious, I even changed it for herbal tea for a while.

But it is a very dynamic drink and queune, it becomes a reason to share and it is very nice, it goes beyond the drink itself.

Nice to hear that you have changed from coffee to herbal tea.

Thanks for feedback .
