Light is my self-nature…
I am not other than that.
When the universe is illuminated,
it is illuminated by my light.
Amazing that through ignorance
the imaginary world appears in me,
just as silver appears in mother of pearl,
a snake in a rope, or a mirage in the rays of the sun…
The universe which has emanated from me
will dissolve into me,
just as a pot dissolves into clay,
a wave into water,
or a bracelet into gold…
Amazing am I, I bow down to myself.

Verses from Ashtavakra Gita

Here Ashtavakra described the realisation of Janaka which is basically the touch of a enlightened master what was Janaka's realization. Real nature is light shining I'm light shining and when the world shining it I alone that is light alone which is shining. It is thrilling just to hear this that my nature is light alone which is shining, we will dwell in that to the explanation I'm light alone what does it mean. Obviously it is not material light is which is what is meant here infact the light metaphor is used for consciousness for our real nature. The very famous mantra from Upanishads Kena Upanishad

is that the Sun can't illumine that ultimate reality nor the moon nor the stars nor lightning flashing in the sky it can't illumine you the real you. What to speak of this mere mortal fire that shining that light shining everything else is revealed you shining. Everything in your life good and bad, the problem and prospects all shine by your light is everything revealed to you in life. So the light metaphor is used.

All my experience of life is one light there and by the way to connect to our day and age. The physical light can't coexist with darkness but consciousness. It reveals the presence of substance as well as it reveals the absence. Consciousness is one and un flickering . If it's so when you open your eyes there are you the light. You the light to something to illumine that is experience

The light of light shining in our hearts. What is this light of light. This is the light which is always present and that is shining in our hearts pointing back to ourselves it is not something out there which pointing to somthing okay within ourselves are what we truly are.

One light it's also nothing very abstract or very strange or very esoteric that only a few yogis entails can see it no it's the most common of all.

What gives us continuous joy. We may get joy from some object or person but at one point of time we don't find joy from the person or object. Then we shift to another object or person to get continuous joy but again it fails and we try to get rid of that. But we never try to get rid of ourselves because we are our own source of continuous joy which we try to find in others instead of within ourselves. It means that it not that I want to get rid of myself.

It is because beyond this body mind is this one light which is our true nature. Then what is love most? Why do we love somthing more than the others because it gives you more happiness then what the thing which you love most be giving you maximum happyness that the self give us maximum happyness.
