Admirable Men

I love the fact that every once in a while, the spotlight is put on the men, though I'd wish this be done more often as there are amazing hardworking men who have stood the test of time, age and culture. These men deserve every accolade they get and more.

Who and what kind of Men do I admire? Whether in my family or outside.

I admire men who have strong spiritual, moral, financial values and principles, in essence men with integrity. Men who keep to their words. These men make it easy to trust them knowing they mean what they say and only say what they mean.

Do i think that man makes society or society makes the Man??

I think that both the man and the society make each other. There's an interplay here. Let's start with the society.
Society by it's sets of rules, obligations, values be it cultural or otherwise can shape men into being one way or another.
An unguided man is left at the mercy of a society that is often highhanded and doesn't have both mercy and isn't fair.
An example of this is the slogan " Real men don't cry" This societal upliftment of the man as alpha who should not show his feelings or he's termed weak has done a lot of harm to some men as men now bottle everything inside and some men in the process of keeping all inside have exploded, committed suicide or just left because they couldn't take the pressures anymore.
On the other hand, man makes these societal rules and codes of conduct. I believe the family unit starts at home and this begins with a man who Is the "head of the family"
Whatever principles a child learns in the home is what he takes out and these become the rules that govern his life . Even when he relearns some of these, on the subconscious level, they are still there and will pop up sometimes. So I believe both the man makes the society and the society in turn can make a man.

What is the bravest and most admirable thing i have seen a man do??

Sacrifice is.
I've seen men in my life and there I've been opportuned to watch their lives sacrifice on a daily basis for the ones they love. Sacrifice isn't sweet. It also isn't easy. Most times it comes with a loosing of one's self just to be able to meet up with the demands and I've seen men do this everyday and are still willing to anf this for me is the bravest and most admirable thing.

Are there really great women next to a man

Not always, but most time there are. Knowing that greatness doesn't just mean achieving a particular seen feat or owning a skyscraper. Great women who decide to love and give and in one way or another help men get to where they are.
The grandmother who accepts and raises an unwanted child with love, the female friend who compliments his efforts, etc. In one way or another a great woman is beside a man.

Do men have a quality that makes them special?

Every man has different things they feel make them special. Here are a few

• physique,
• mental intelligence,
• Accomplishments in life,
• Life experiences that have shaped their outlook and view of life.
• Mindsets, etc
