Nothing is better than a picnic because it allows you share your joy, happiness, love and embrace nature. Having picnic is amazing and beautiful. I love engaging in such activities because I love being happy and also doing in celebrating others success.

This picnic was set up by my aunt. She thought it would be great to spend time with the family. Since it was Christmas time and everyone was home, it was a perfect opportunity for a gathering.

She took care of all the planning and costs for the party. We went to Port Harcourt, where there are many parks and gardens suitable for this kind of event.

She finally suggested pleasures park. Pleasure park is a very big and beautiful park located at the heart of Port Harcourt city, Nigeria. It is more like a tourist center.

I went with my cousins, aunt, and friend. When we arrived, we found a large, open area to store our things. We laid out a mat on the ground and placed the food and drinks in one corner.

We also packed fruits and sweets because we planned to stay for a long time. Everything was chilled at home, and we ensured it stayed cool while we were there.

My aunt picked the location, not me, and the pleasure park turned out to be the best choice because of its cleanliness and great vibe. Plus, we could buy food there even if we didn't bring our own.

Pleasure park is perfect for families and kids. It's a great spot for sightseeing, relaxing, and enjoying fun activities. If you go during the day, there's a gate fee of 1000 Naira, but entry is free in the evening.

The atmosphere at pleasure park is wonderful and peaceful, making you want to return. The river and boats are well-maintained, and the park is large enough for all kinds of activities. There are many stalls selling snacks, cooked meals, drinks, and more.

Pleasure park is a must-visit!

Pleasure Park offers a great selection of food that I really enjoyed, especially the barbecue. Their menu includes:

What is a game without kids, and what are kids without a game? We had many games to choose from, like ludo, chess, dot and box, swings, and more.

We focused on dot and box because it was the newest game, and both the kids and I found it interesting. Dot and box is a strategic game where players take turns connecting dots to create lines and complete squares.

The game is challenging yet easy to understand, but you need to be careful to avoid mistakes. The children had a great time, especially with dot and box. They were so excited that they didn't want to leave when it was time to go.

I enjoyed myself too, not just the kids, as they made the experience even better.

Funny anecdotes or special moments they experienced.

I believe their best moments were when my aunt showed off her lovely gifts for them. She bought some toys and shared them with everyone. They had a great time playing and didn’t stop until we left the park.

Later, they decided to trade their toys, but sadly, one got broken. Fortunately, it was replaced in the end. A funny moment happened when Tina was told to eat a little bit first and then she could have more later. She didn’t want to eat just a little and asked for a big serving. Eventually, she was too full, but my aunt insisted she finish it. It was funny because Tina cried, saying she wouldn’t do it again.
