Okay, I am starting with the didactic game with which we are all familiar. Yes, it is a Lego city set game.LEGO CITY is not only a toy collection set but also effect tools for didactic purposes. I will share how it helps children's creativity and development. For this game, I invite my nephew who is 8 years old. Let's start,

Making Process

Step- I

---

First, I gave my nephew the Lego set and told him to create it wherever he wanted. First, he wanted to build a school then he decided to make his dream house. I just followed what he wanted me to do. He took two large blocks to make the base and set it properly.

Then he started making his house. He made a duplex house. He started with a long pillar and a strong wall first. He showed me how to open the door. Then he started making the second floor. The thing I like most is the way he made the balcony. This is awesome. It’s a hanging balcony. Make the walls and place them on the first floor. It was too good.

Then he started making the rooftop. Here he used his colourful block to make a rooftop. He knows that on almost everyone’s roof, there are some plants, so he added plants and created seats for taking rest. He also added a light here.

In this step, he made a swimming poll. He used a blue closure for the swimming pool. I helped him make the pool but the resting bench was made by him. It was all his idea. You know, A house with a swimming pool is my dream too. I deem the maximum number of people who want this.

Okay, A house without a garden is so empty. He added a mini garden in his dream house. Here, he used clay for plants, tubs, and plastic flowers. Divided the pool and garden area.

Then he made the main gate. I was surprised to see his main gate. It was a sliding gate. You can open the gate and enter the house. He knows the security issues too. He installed a CC TV camera on the main gate so that he could take a close look at whatever was going on there.

Then he makes a garage for this dream car. The funny part is that after placing this car into the garage, he immediately starts making walls because he doesn’t want to lose his cars. So he makes it strongly secure by the walls.

Finally, he made the security guard table with a chair and looked closely. He also put a data book on the table. This proves his intellectual sign, and it also proves that he observes everything closely.

Describe the purpose of the didactic game what you created, what do you want to teach with the game?

Okay! To be very honest, this game was played all by my nephew. He created everything. I just assisted him. This is a game where elderly people show the way to the creation of just a helping hand. If the kid cannot separate the blocks, then we help, or if they are confused, then we help by our suggestions. So, The primary purpose of playing Lego City with my younger nephew was to combine play with education. Also, the objectives are to think critically, solve problems easily, work with others to connect oneself with the real world, how to develop observation skills. What I wanted to teach him with this game is given below.

• How to design one's dream into reality
• Output of the creativity and imagination
• Develop his problem-solving skill
• Develop his observation skill
• Believe in his dream and stay focused on achieving that dream.

In your own words explain how to play

---

This is a Lego City game where you are free of any rules and regulations. All one can do is use his imagination power. It's a flexible and open-ended experience game where you can play individually or with a group. But below, I am presenting how to play this game.

• First, select a Lego set. There are so many Lego sets, for example,,Lego CityyheroesesLego Cityty police, fire station, police headquarters, forestairportsrts, railway stations and many more.
• You can mix sets to cover two or more categories. Its totally upto you. Here I only use lego city for all.
• Then plan your city with your lego set types because you cannot make a police headquater with lego airport set. So make a layout of your city and go for it.
• After making your city layout, design it creatively. Remember you are free to design your city. No need to follow the rule provided by our society . Feel free to create anything. You can make a park where everyone can excess there and play, can make a school where everyone can study, no age restrictions, no tuition fee or donation requirement.
• Try expend your city gradually with your observations and of course imaginations.
• Try learn something new from your creation. If you are playing with a group then compare your creation with each outers and appriciate others if they did something outstanding.
• Finally, after playing, clean up all and organised all the blocks. As these are small blocks so after playing store all for next time.

He, the child not only liked the game but also loved it. Time flies when we play this game. The child was so excited to play this fame when I joined his his joys was something else. He was supper excited to show me his creation . Nope, it wasn’t bired me, infact it was quite enjoyable for both. So, no doubt, it entertained me.
I strongly believe this game contributed to the child's learning. This game contributed to child's mental development. It will help enhances creativity of a child. I can explain it well, when a child make a city then it definitely his own creation where he will use his imagination. He will use his observation too. As you can see my nephew installed cc camera for security perpose which he observe from our building security system. Also he showed us a data book, I don’t know from where he noticed it but it is very common in security gaurd table. The colour theme he use in swimming pool is definitely appreciable. The way he was concern to proctect his cars from thieves was also a thinking development. So, yes, I believe this game contributed to the child's learning.
My experience was cool. While playing I laugh at a time because my nephew made a slider next to the pool but it was taller then his house. When he realised that he immediately broke it and didn’t add it here. This make me laugh. I helped him making wall of his house. And added two green block infront of the main gate. When I was doing that my nephew give me a dust cleaner and request me to clean the dust. I was surprised and pretend to clean the rooftop. Actually, when we play with any kid we become a kid and the experience that I gathered is nothing but a jolly memories of me and of course the child's experience was happier than me. We two had a great time and experience playing with the educational game.
