BORING CLASS ? NO MORE !!!

Have you ever thought about how frustrating it is to teach someone who is not interested like the slightest trace of interest cannot be seen on your students face, the frustration the zeal itself to impact knowledge on someone else at that instant fades off, as opposed to a case where you are tutoring someone who is very curious and passionate to learn the difference is very clear in the sense that you feel this wave or sense of fulfillment after you are done teaching the latter student because you know you have left something valuable in him/her
Late last year as schools were gradually reopening I got a part time gig where I was teaching in a private session with a group of kids and "wow" mere words couldn't describe this kids disinterest in learning, if someone had described the students interest towards learning as dead end i think it will come close to a good description of this kids interest in thier education, you would speak for hours and ask i simple questions the only feedback you get is lots of big red eyes staring back at you.

Take a good look at this image above and picture your self teaching 7(seven) kids like this who are only there because thier parents made it compulsory that they attend your evening classes,it takes a very persistent and determined heart to keep going and trying to teach kids like this they were always bored.
Learning dosen't have to be something someone is forced into especially because the classes are just repitive everday you come to class its always the same thing teach and leave no joking around no interactive sessions why wouldn't your class be boring, after carrying out some survey from the student's i discovered they were being approached educationally from the wrong angle kids this days are growing fast the old method of just sitdown while i talk and when i am done we dismiss is long gone i decided to try new approach towards this students educational life and turned the boring class to a class they look forward to coming everyday my one time my class transitioned from a debilitating and frustrating 2hours long tutor to a very interesting and fun class ?

I realized any time a chocolate was at stake this kids were always more interested in what i was saying so i started with strategic approaches like who remembers the most of what i thought you today get to go home with the most candy sometimes gets special treatment

  it helps a lot for the kids to know you are friendly and happy while you are teaching them,i wouldn't tell my problems to a teacher who is always looking upset or angry

They were used to getting discouraged when they attempt something and fail but not me of you fail i ask you to stay behind teach you amd encourage you to give it more time

I introduced interesting contest between the kids like spelling quiz, maths quiz and simple brain teasers that i can ensure everyone will participate and enjoy in that case everyone is intrested and wants to win, the competition sparks thier educational life and they pick up challenges more complex in other to prep for next quiz

Kids this days need some sort of catch or some sort of encouragement especially those whose parents dont giveuch attention to their educational life. Trust me when i say the feeling you get from self fulfillment after successfully teaching in an interesting class is very satifactory. Lets try and learn to adjust with the times,dont just walk into your class room and do the same thing every day,strategically plan ,make your class interesting that way you will be happy in work and off work,generally you just feel good.....
Education is key it cant be said enough the amount of emphasis that should be laid on education please if you are in teaching profession and your students are not picking anything from your sessions try and change your teaching approach it migth not be the kids it migth be you..Dont forget children are the leaders of tomorrow!
