To do my best to me

We invest a lot in decorating ourselves. Start with beauty, diet, diet, new clothes, bags, and more. In other words, starting with my appearance, I invest a lot of time and money in fashion, accessories, and the cars I ride. These are all acts of loving me. Of course, there is a desire to be recognized by others in the act.

So how is our heart? How much do we try to cultivate our minds? Aren't you stuffing a lot of stuff with a lot of internet content? How long have you looked at my heart? Have you ever thought about what kind of state my heart is in for even a minute? Am I happy or unhappy now?

No matter how much silk you wear and live in a palace-like house, there is no guarantee that you will be happy (you will feel good at least a month). That doesn't mean you should live poorly. Living a poor life can make your heart more barren.

The important thing is that no matter what environment you are in, you must do your best to me. To do my best means to look at and take care of my heart. To do that, you have to look around instead of running forward. You need to know if you're heading in the right direction and if you're enjoying running.

Reading a book solves a lot of questions. Listening to the wisdom of numerous Sunhyuns, it feels like the unresolved thread is released. Reading a book is not to show off my knowledge. Rather, it is to realize what I am missing. It is important to recognize how small I am in space on Earth. When you understand my imperfection, you can see me fully. The same goes for not only me, but also many people. The same goes for rich and famous people. It is an imperfect being. So, self-made rich do not neglect to read.

“88% of the rich read more than 30 minutes daily for self-improvement. In addition, 63% listen to education-related audiobooks or podcasts when commuting to work. Even when they read, 58% read biographies of successful people.” -From 《Habit is the answer》

If you have a lot of money and are famous, of course, you should live happily, but there are many cases that do not. Some people end their lives on their own. As such, the human mind is different from the outward appearance. It looks perfect on the outside, but not on the inside. There are many people who have heartache. The same is true for those who are stiff. Their hearts also need healing.

True self-improvement is also a process of healing my heart. It's not all about waking up early in the morning, exercising, and maximizing your work efficiency. Of course, it's an act of loving me, but you have to look deeper than that. Why do I get up early every morning? What do I long for success for? Why do you think you should keep upgrading? The answer must be found through this reflection. At the same time, you can take care of the external part as well. That is the act of devoting yourself to me and loving me.

After all, the answer is love. Caring for and loving me is devotion, and to do so, you have to read, write, and ponder. To love me doesn't mean you have to love only me. If you look at and caress for my painful wounds, your mind to look at other people will also change. A good college, a good job, and a fancy cosplay isn't all about my sincerity. Constantly supplying me with delicious food is not the answer. Of course, I will be grateful at first, but if it becomes everyday, my body will be taken for granted.

That's why finding your identity is so important. You have to know, love, and grow you. Life is achieved by gathering those moments. Close your eyes for a moment and think. What is it like to do my best to me?

Self-improvement is also part of it. And among them, reading, writing, and reflection cannot be left out. It is the most important act of looking back and planning for the future. Reading a good phrase in the morning and meditating is sometimes better than taking 10 vitamins. Vitamins do not heal the mind. I want to say that'books are the vitamins of the heart'. Of course, I read a book with 5 vitamins consistently in the morning.

Tim Cook, Apple's CEO, with a whopping $1.38 trillion in market capitalization is no different. He makes more money than anyone else, but money isn't the only reason he's workaholic. His father was a shipyard worker. Because he was raised in a blue-collar family, I think'labor' is a sacred duty and a sense of duty more than anyone else. For him,'labor is identity'. The money earned through sublime labor began to give back to society. Thinking while working and finding the meaning of life. Do your best at the given time. I wake up at 4:30 every morning and go to work at 6 in the morning after exercising.

I need to find my identity, read, write, and think, and do my best at this moment. That's the act of doing my best to me. It's not all about decorating my appearance (of course, sometimes I need it). No matter how much medical help you get, you have no choice but to get old. I'm in my 60s and 70s, but it's strange if I have a face in my 20s. But my wisdom and knowledge are not. Rather, it will shine more. Of course, only if you do your best to me. Those who settle down cannot enjoy such light.

Again today, I wake up to eat vitamins, read a verse, and write. Meditate and think about your sense of duty. Stretch and start the day. It is an act that will continue to repeat hundreds and thousands of days in the future. But I know that this is an act of devotion to me.

How about you? How do you start the day? What do you do for me? What do you do for your heart as well as your appearance?
