Why do I write?

A question that all those who are obsessed with writing should ask themselves. Because writing is not an intellectual luxury, but rather a continuous effort to convey information or an idea to the reader without boring them.

Writing is a mirror that reflects the internal intellectual concerns that afflict the writer, and which the creator can only get rid of after revealing and delivering them to the reader in the form of an essay, novel, or poetry...

Today, I asked myself this question, and I wanted to find a satisfactory answer to the reason that drives me to write. In this article, I will try to answer this question frankly, boldly, and clearly.

I don't want to give the reader typical answers. In fact, I want to write to express only what concerns me, I want to write to express my thoughts and concerns, and I don't really care about what concerns others. A writer cannot satisfy everyone because satisfying people is an unattainable goal.

So for me, writing is purely a personal desire, behind which I aim to satisfy a need in me that is mainly represented in extinguishing internal obsessions.

Writing is primarily a means of self-treatment, and at the same time a test and examination of my ideas, and ideas can only be tested when they come out into the world in the form of written text. Therefore, criticism is of great importance and great benefits.

Anyone who wants to engage in this path must show audacity and courage to put forward what they really think. This means revealing oneself to the reader without shame or fear of criticism or ridicule.

Writing, as I conceive it, is therefore a kind of revelation, and it is one of the noble arts that is not easy to practice because it requires courage and skill.

Don't worry too much about the question of skill, as it is not done in one go, but rather requires a long time of practice and persistence. The important thing is that a person dares to write and empty their thoughts, whether they are negative or positive.
