To be afraid of losing the self that you have identified yourself with is quite natural. But remember, you cannot lose what you truly are, only what you are not. Who is afraid? Only a thought, and you are not a thought. You are what the thought occurs in. Be that vast empty space and all else will unfold quite naturally and spontaneously.
