The Alter Ego Has Nothing to Do with ItsteemCreated with Sketch.

My car is already a grandpa in car years - it's from 1990, but it's still in good condition and does its job: to get me from point A to point B. I drive carefully, don't accelerate too much, don't overtake anyone, and take care of its old heart.

Recently, I noticed that the tires I just replaced were almost worn out. It surprised me, but what surprised me even more was that the mileage on the dashboard was increasing too quickly, even though I only drive about 30 kilometers a day. This alarmed me. The thought came to my mind: "Could someone be stealing it at night and then returning it by morning?" So, I decided to install a small hidden camera in the car to investigate.

I installed it and didn't check the recordings for a whole month simply because I went on a business trip to a neighboring city by train, leaving the car parked outside the house. I stayed on the business trip for two weeks, and then I just forgot about the camera for another two weeks.

Before checking the recordings, a strange fantasy came to my mind: "As if my old car at night, like Superman, takes off its suit, removes its glasses, and turns into a sporty superhero car, participating in illegal nighttime races on its own, leaving the chasing police far behind, and in the morning, it turns back into the old gentleman." But these fantasies were shattered by the harsh reality: it turned out that my 16-year-old son took the keys while I was asleep and drove around the city at quite a fast speed.

I didn't scold him; we agreed that until he gets his driver's license, he won't sit behind the wheel. And even though my fantastic version of my car's alter ego was not confirmed, I still consider it a supercar.

A Subaru...! I was so happy with my one many years... Until... Someone drove at me. And it was a total loss, mainly because of the rear-mounted gas drive.

Merry Christmas!

You've got a sneaky son there.

He is not like that at all, I made it up for the contest🙂, but he really is 16, and I have this car.

Alright then.
