As a kid, I always cherished my time spent in the playground, loved every aspect of it. From slides to see-saws and swings I simply can’t get enough of them. From simple games who will catch who (Pakran- Pakrai, Qaidi-Qaidi) to the more complicated ones like cricket and football used to be good at them all and enjoyed each game with same enthusiasm. The unfathomable joy of winnings especially from my brother and the level of heartbreak from losing still nothing can compare to those small wins and losses.
Loved to run even though I ended up getting side-stitch pretty quickly to this day I get it if I ever try to run but that didn’t stop me back then now it’s a completely different story, can’t sprint more than a minute or so, can jog for a little time but running is totally out of question may be if I’ll have to run for life then those legs and breath may support me ;), I secretly still believe I will be able to run even if I’ve fallen out of practice.
But now that I’ve grown up it seems to me that now life has become a playground we are constantly on slides, see-saws and swings, high for a second then low for a while. On top of the world one minute and then in the dirt for next few that’s how life has been a roller-coaster of ups and downs. Someone comes along to push you or put you down but then a handful of people to cheer you up, get you to move in the winning direction playing for the same cause as a team of cricket or football.
Some play dirty all along and some might follow the rules like their lives depended on it. Each and every one of them is there to teach you a lesson then move on to find a new set of players again. In the end for me life is a playground where we scrape our knees from time to time but still love every moment spent here and whatever kind of ball is played on this field we’ll have the ability to tackle it sometimes with teary eyes and others with a big broad smile. Keep on playing dear steemians in this playground of life and don’t forget to celebrate those small wins along the way.

It's good to hear to you the world is still like a playground.
The one in my childjood was small but I liked to climb that tree.
To me the world is not a playground, I like it better if I am not pushed of a swing or slide.

First of all welcome back from a long break :)
Lovely read as always!
Ah, the playground days – where hopscotch battles and tag were the epic struggles of our childhood - you took me back to those days. Thank you for this vivid description. ❤️ Even with those pesky side-stitches, the thrill of racing to the swings remains etched in my memory.
Life's like a giant playground, you are right! It throws curveballs like a swing set, but each player, fair or not, adds a unique chapter to the game...
Let's embrace the ups, navigate the downs, and cheer on fellow friends in this grand game of life. I think, small victories deserve big celebrations – just like conquering the monkey bars back in the day! Whenever I see kids racing for securing the spot on swings for themselves and their friends, it always brings a big wide smile on my face. These moments of pure innocent joys.

Thanks @soulfuldreamer for the appreciation and you are right small victories deserve big celebrations but most of the times we are just so caught up in the moment that we forget to celebrate let's make a habit of celebrating those small wins may many come your way Aameen.
