Story3 "The Golden Apple"
A long time ago, a man and his wife lived in a town. He had enough money, and he was enjoying his life with his wife. He was not much worried, but his wife felt they should have a child as they had no children.
One night, the wife had a dream. She saw a tree in a dense forest. Its branch was bent as it was loaded with fruits. She saw a huge golden apple hanging from its branch.
Incidentally, she had this dream for three consecutive nights in a row. One day she asked her husband, "Will you please go to the forest and bring me that golden apple?"
That man did not believe this, but he decided to go just for the sake of his wife. He walked in the direction described by his wife and finally reached the middle of that dense forest.
Surprisingly, he saw a tree whose branch was bent, and there was a golden apple hanging on it. He could not stop himself, so he stretched out his hand and plucked the apple from the branch.
As soon as he plucked the apple, he heard an angry voice say, "How dare you pluck this apple?"
He looked around and saw a beautiful woman asking him this question. She was not an ordinary woman, as her hair was golden and she had a golden necklace around her neck.
The man said, "Don't be angry with me." He said politely, "I didn't know it was forbidden to pluck the fruits here. I wanted to give it to my sick wife."
The woman said, "As you have told me the truth, so I gift you this golden apple."
The woman further said, "Tell your wife to eat it. There will be twins, both boys, in your house, when they turn eighteen, send them here in this forest. I will decide the fate of both of them."
Now my continuation of the story
The man returned home, holding the precious golden apple in his hands. He shared the incredible encounter with his wife, who listened with wide-eyed astonishment. Excitement filled their hearts as they believed their long-awaited dream of having children was finally coming true.
With great anticipation, the wife consumed the golden apple, savoring its otherworldly taste. Days turned into weeks, and weeks into months. Miraculously, as foretold by the golden-haired woman, the wife became pregnant and eventually gave birth to healthy twin boys. The couple named them Alex and Benjamin.
As the boys grew, their parents shared the story of their unique beginnings and the mysterious encounter in the forest. The boys were intrigued by their origin tale, and as they approached their eighteenth birthday, they felt a growing sense of curiosity and eagerness to meet the woman who had spoken of deciding their fate.
On the eve of their eighteenth birthday, their parents bid them farewell and handed each of them a map leading to the forest. Filled with a mixture of anticipation and trepidation, the twins set out on their journey, following the path their father had once taken.
After days of traversing through dense foliage and meandering trails, they reached the heart of the forest. There, standing beneath the same tree where their father had plucked the golden apple, they discovered a hidden entrance to a mystical realm. The entrance was adorned with intricate carvings, depicting mythical creatures and enchanted landscapes.
Taking a deep breath, the twins exchanged nervous glances before stepping through the portal. As they entered, the air shimmered with magic, and they found themselves in a breathtaking realm, unlike anything they had ever seen. Lush gardens, cascading waterfalls, and ethereal beings surrounded them, creating an atmosphere of enchantment.
Soon, a figure emerged from the distance, her golden hair flowing like a radiant sunbeam. It was the woman who had gifted their father the golden apple years ago. Her voice carried a melodious tone as she spoke, "Welcome, Alex and Benjamin. I have been awaiting your arrival."
She revealed herself as the guardian of the forest and explained the purpose of their visit. "In this realm, I possess the power to bestow upon you a gift, a boon that shall shape the path of your lives. Choose wisely, for this gift will forever be a part of you."
The twins pondered their choices, their minds filled with dreams and aspirations. Alex, with a passion for knowledge and exploration, requested the gift of wisdom and discernment. Benjamin, driven by compassion and a desire to heal, sought the gift of healing and empathy.
Pleased with their choices, the golden-haired woman nodded and bestowed upon each twin their chosen gifts. Alex felt a profound clarity of thought and an insatiable thirst for knowledge course through his being. Benjamin, on the other hand, discovered an innate ability to understand and heal the ailments of both body and soul.
Their time in the mystical realm came to an end, and with the blessings of the guardian, the twins returned home, forever changed by their encounter. Alex pursued a path of academia, becoming a renowned scholar, while Benjamin dedicated his life to medicine, becoming a compassionate healer revered by all.
Throughout their lives, they used their gifts to bring light and wisdom to those in need. Their bond as brothers remained unbreakable, and their shared experience in the enchanted forest forged an unbreakable connection with the mystical realm.
As the years passed, their tale became a legend, inspiring generations to seek knowledge, embrace compassion, and believe in the magic that resides within us all. And though they returned to the forest only in their memories, the impact of their encounter remained etched in their hearts, forever guiding their destinies.
