All these years I thought that I had an unrecognizable voice and some sort of weird speech impediment. # It was the stinking microphone! #

Here's how I did it:

1. I have an old laptop with Windows 10 and it has CD/DVD reader writer in it.
   I placed DVD it.

2. I plugged in the removable SSD.

3. I installed Dragon Naturally Speaking on the removable hard drive. In a directory I created drive-letter:\Program Files (x86)\

4. That allowed it to work but after I also installed it on that computer. Then I erased it on the computer because I can run it on the removable drive.

5. I found where the program shortcuts was located in C:\Windows\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Nuance\

6. I modified the drive letter to the temporary removable drive in the shortcut

7. That only worked in the old computer.

8. I copied the entire disk onto the removable SSD. The program was over 3 gigabytes.

9. I installed from the removable hard drive copied DVD of Dragon Naturally Speaking into the super PC by clicking setup.exe and run as administrator.

10. It worked!

11. I checked the microphone and it said it worked. I even made tests of speech in sound recorder program.

12. Dragon Naturally Speaking showed all sorts of errors as I went through the tutorial. Sometimes it would work and then for no reason, not work!

13. The computer has a microphone array and since I had never used it. I pulled out the plug-in microphone and found the microphone array in system devices. The volume was low. I turned it up.

Voila!

1. I was writing whole, mostly flawless sentences in Dragon Pad like a machine gun.

2. _ OH YEAH!! !!! _

3. I have been trying to do this since Isaac Asimov showed how he did it to write, I Robot.

Again, the plug-in microphone worked when I first talked into it then stopped. That was the problem!

Now to switch it to the removable hard drive. So it operates on the super PC.

Then, visual studio.

Ah, ah, ha, ha, ha, ha!

I don't have to find homeless encampments and try to talk somebody into being my executive assistant. Who has to move into the middle of nowhere.
