His last glimpse of the full moon.

A brim of calm light was appearing over the blurry horizon. The ruinous man looked at the rising moon from his half opened eyes. The slight coolness of moonlight was working as water for him. He tried hard to sit straight and glanced at the limitless wavey mounds of sand in hazy darkness. His mind was perceiving his surroundings.

He remembered his escape from the perilous prison of a local lord. He could feel the smell of his wounded companion in prison. His direful screams still echoed in his ears. Illegal slaves are the worst creatures on the earth crust. They don't know whether they were in hell here or if it will be hereafter.

The source of creamy light was still half dipped in the darkness of the horizon, but it opened a door to delusion for Sajawal. He saw his home in the oasis of the magical desert. The sweet memory of his home, his family made him to stand up. It was just a few steps away from him. He started to take slow steps to the cool breeze coming from the mirage created in deceptive solitude.

He could see his little daughter playing with ducks in the courtyard. His mother and wife were busy picking stones from the wheat grains. He smiled, and another crack on his dry lips gave way to blood drops. He was trembling but wanted to go forward. A desire to climb on date trees rose in him strongly. He tried to take faster steps. The moon fully appeared on the vastness of the sky. The straight rays poured on sand and illuminated the desert of "Thar". He knew the desert as the lines on his palm. He was on the right path, but a sudden roar of barking dogs vibrated his air drums. A wave of terror passed through his heart.

He knew he was chased by the gigantic gull terriers of his pigheaded master. He left the way and moved towards where the moon was right in front of him. He didn't think about where to go, but as the moon was his only guide. He started to run. The time, the path, his oasis, the date tree, the ducks, the stones in wheat all mixed up. He chased the moon which was running in front of him. With every step, shiny sand made it difficult to rise his steps. But he was running without looking at the cool silicone particles.

Suddenly, he felt an electric shock passing his whole body and some barbed wire created a stinging sensation in him. He bumped into the electric fence of some territory. The fence which he didn't know belonged to whom. Maybe it was the border of a village, province, country or of his whole world.

He managed to take off his hands from the fence but it made him almost senseless. He fell on his back and saw the full moon straight right upon him. He never saw such a close sight of this white ball. It was so near that if he raised his hand he could touch it. His pain was increasing, the barking dogs came near. He knows that he will never meet his daughter again...

I was expecting a lot of romance and maybe werewolves... It's melancholy this week...

Maybe a key word like "romance" is a treatment to this sadness.☺️
