Escape from Justice
This was an interrogation room with a very strong halogen light, one of those with a pedestal, and it was completely focused on the panda bear who was tied up with his hands in front of him and his head down, while Ju, who was interrogating him, looked at him with an inquisitive gaze, almost accusing him.
The bear had initially been sitting around a table, but then he removed it in an act of fury to continue the interview.
-"Ju, who is the interrogator, asks Lin loudly, 'So you were the one who stole the bamboo leaves.'
-"Lin responds, 'Yes, I was,' with complete audacity and without shame for having done it.
-"'Why did you do it?' asks Ju.
-"'Well, I was simply hungry and needed to eat,' Lin responds.
-"'But we have enough food,' Ju tells him.
-"'That's not enough for me,' Lin responds.
-"'Were you going to do anything else with the bamboo leaves besides eating them?' Ju asks.
-"'No, I was just going to eat them,' Lin says.
-"'Why didn't you ask us for help? We would have given you enough food,' Ju says.
-"'Well, I was actually afraid that they would make fun of me and say that I wasn't capable of getting my own food, and that scared me a lot,' Lin responds.
-"'And now, what's your question?' Lin asks.
-"'Now you're going to have to tell us who your accomplices were. We need to get our hands on those who helped you, especially those bears who are involved in the theft of the leaves,' Ju says.
-"'But I can't tell you that because they'll kill me,' Lin responds.
-"'Then you're going to have to serve your sentence in jail,' Ju says.
-"'Well, I don't care about that. That doesn't matter to me,' Lin responds.
-"'You really don't have any other choice,' Ju says.
-"Lin looks at Ju with a hypocritical smile and says, 'Yes, I do have a choice.'
-"'And what's your choice?' Ju asks, looking at him strangely.
In a surprising act, the panda calmly stands up, still with his hands tied, opens the door, and the other panda stays stunned looking at him. "Bye,' Lin shouts.
-"'Where are you going?' the other panda asks.
-"'I'm going to escape,' Lin responds.
The other panda is in a state of shock because he can't believe that he has the audacity to escape at this moment.
-"Lin sees him and says, 'I hope you don't have any more questions because I'm not going to answer them.'
The bear runs all over the place. The other pandas sound the alarm, and there is a great commotion, but even though they looked all over the place, it was too late. The spy panda thief had escaped. The scene ends with the panda running through the forest giving it his all, even though his legs are tied.
He keeps running until he reaches a river, but he has the problem that he can't cross it because he's tied up and that's the only way to save himself and escape from the other pandas.
So he takes a deep breath, but he realizes that there is a big bamboo tree at the foot of the river and he starts pushing it, trying to calculate the timing, knowing that he has just enough time to make the tree fall before the other pandas arrive.
So he starts pushing it, but he can't knock it down. He takes a step back, gathers momentum again, and hits it again, making it fall onto the river and immediately jumps onto it, holding onto the bamboo as tightly as he can.
The current carried him down the lower part of the river to the other side, much further down, managing to reach the other side. Our protagonist comes out of the river, dries himself off, and is once again free, knowing that he has narrowly escaped this time and that he will never again steal bamboo leaves so that he won't have to answer all these questions again.
And that's my story for today. I hope you enjoyed it.
