Continuation...

As soon as the man returned home, he told his wife everything that happened and showed the apple to her, who could not believe her eyes. At first when she tried to eat the apple, she started having doubts about the mystical woman and her true purposes. Both husband and wife had a discussion on this matter. The husband was amazed because he wanted to have two boys, but in spite his wife wanted the same as him, she was hesitant thinking they will have to sacrifice their boys when they turned 18 years old.

A few days passed, and the wife had stopped having the dream about the golden apple, but instead, she started having all kinds of nightmares that did not let her sleep well. One day, when she was exhausted due to the lack of sleep, she decided to eat the golden apple.

Nine months later, two beautiful boys were born. They were two identical twins. Their father was as happy as a human being can be, and their mother was also full of joy, but she could not stop thinking what might happen to her boys in the future.

As the years were passing by, the boys were growing absolutely handsome, intelligent, strong and kind. They were the dream of all parents, and what every boy their age wished to be. Girls fell in love with any of them easily. Every once in a while, the man went into the woods to search for the Golden Apple tree woman to tell her how well his boys had grown up, but he could not find anything.

When the twins turned 18, both their parents were hesitant to get into the woods, but as soon as they started having the most horrible nightmares, they understood what they had to do.

One day they talked to the boys, telling them all the story of the Golden Apple. The boys were surprised, but as kind-hearted as they were, they immediately understood their parents and supported both parents' decision of taking them to the woods. In fact, they hurried them up a little so they stopped eluding their fate once and for all.

Once in the woods, the mystical woman emerged from the Golden Apple tree, which happened to be there this time.

The woman hugged the boys as if they had known them for a long time. They both reacted at her touch, and not only recognized her from a past life, but they both started glowing, and their clothes turned golden like those of the woman.

The couple could not believe their eyes, but it was obvious in hindsight. Their children were some sort of angels or another mystical creature they had no clue about, that was the reason they were so perfect!

After a long silence, the wife intervened:
-It seems like keeping our boys is out of the question, she exclaimed.
-They do not belong to you anymore, said the woman.
When hearing this, the man broke his silence:
-They never did. It was the price for that Golden Apple, am I right?
-Yes, you are, said the woman.

The mystical twins hugged their parents and thanked them for such an upbringing full of love. They told them it was time for them to go back to their land of origin, and that no one except for them would remember they existed. The couple could not hold their tears.

In the blink of an eye, they all disappeared: the twins, the woman and the mystical tree.
