Contest: The World of Fantasy Part 2

My story

"Please forgive me mama, for leaving without telling you. I am sure you would never allow me to leave if I told you. By the way, how are you now?”

“I am fine, Margaret told me that you asked her to look after me well. She responded by encouraging him to continue his story.

“Mother, I heard about the place where fruits could cure all the diseases. I went in search of that mysterious place as I wanted to cure you.

His mother's eyes widened in amazement and disbelief. "John, I've heard of that location; many people tried to get there, but no one could. It is very dangerous."

With a simple smile, John continued “Yes mama; it was very dangerous; a huge dark jungle covered with dense trees. I heard strange noises from all sides. But I moved carefully, looking for any danger. I went with food and water in my backpack, with some tools for emergencies. I met dangerous wild animals.

Mother was afraid and worried about what would happen next.

"Once, a wild boar attempted to strike me, but I escaped by climbing a tree. Another time, I fell into a deep hell but saved myself by catching a branch from a tree.

On the way, I met an elderly man who asked for some food. I had only a few, but I handed him a half. Then he offered me magic oil and advised me to use a drop whenever I was in danger. Because of his oil, I was able to escape any danger."

"My son, I know you are a generous person, so everyone protects you," Mother said happily.

“Mama, believe me, once my water finished, I spent a day without water. I searched for water everywhere. Suddenly, I found a clear water pond, but no animals were drinking from it. I realized there must be some risk so I hid and waited for someone to drink water. As soon as one bird tried to drink, it disappeared. Yes, I was correct, I decided not to enter the pond. Instead, I looked for a safe way to drink water. I found a piece of bamboo nearby. I used it to drink water and filled my bottle as well."

Mother scared, and asked, "What happened next?"

"Mama, I noticed lights shining through the trees and ran towards them, filled with pleasure. I couldn't believe what I was seeing; I had arrived on that incredible ground. The trees were plentiful with colorful fruits. I plucked one fruit and ate it; I felt energized and no longer tired.

I promptly arrived with a bag of fruits and approached you. I did not face any danger on my return." Answering so, he offered his mother the bag of fruits.

Mother felt a big recovery when she ate one. Her eyes filled with tears of joy. She hugged John hard, saying, "John, you did that; I am so grateful to you. My son, you are brave.”

After that, John's mother healed, and he became recognized as the courageous young man who found the secret location. Later, he healed numerous patients free of charge. However, he kept the location a secret since he understood it was a valuable gift that needed to be safeguarded.
