"Story7 : That Scary Night"

Alex was traveling with his wife during the night when his car came to a halt with a jolt. Alex got out of his car and looked at his watch. It was exactly 9 as he opened the bonnet of the car and started trying to fix it. But nothing doing, the car was not starting. He pulled out his phone from his pocket and tried to call for help, but there was no network.

He looked at Tina, who was sleeping in the back seat. He smiled and then called her, "Hey, Tina, get up quickly. I guess we will have to spend tonight in this car because it's not starting, and the nearest town is about 40km from here."
Tina was scared and angry as it was too dark, "I asked you not to take this shortcut through the jungle, but you would never hear me."

Now we will have to sit out the night here.

Tina didn't want to stay in that place, so she said, "Let's find a guest house."

Alex was sure the car would not start without the help of a mechanic, but he also didn't want to take the risk of spending that night in that forest, so he agreed to walk and find a place to stay overnight. As Tina came out of the car, picked up her handbag from the car, and Alex locked it, they heard wolves howling somewhere close in the forest. Those sounds were making that dark night even more scary.

They both kept walking for about half an hour, but they neither got a lift nor a hotel. Tina was continuously talking to herself as if trying to control her anger.

My Story.

A heavy rainstorm hit them as they walked another 500 meters. It was raining heavily, thundering, and lightening. They couldn't move because they didn't have an umbrella in their hands. They paused for a moment and considered their options.

Tina shouted, ‘Alex I can’t get wet in the rain, let’s go back to our car”. Alex agreed that it was a good idea because moving forward in the pouring rain without knowing the area was very risky. He therefore made the decision to return to the vehicle.

"All right, let's go to the car." said Alex.

Then, both ran towards the car, which was about 1500 meters away. However, before they ran more than 1000 meters, a car stopped closer to them and inquired as to the reason. They responded with the reason and ran to their car.

The guest parked his car on the side of the road, raised an umbrella, and reached out to them. He tapped Alex's glass with his middle finger. Alex lowered his glass and spoke to the visitor.

'Did you figure out what happened to your car?' asked the guest.

'No, I can't find the problem; it won't start,' Alex replied.

‘It's pouring outside, and you can't find a garage closer, or even a hotel to stay the night. I'll be back with a mechanic because I'm from this area.' He replied and got into his car and left the place.

'Will he come back?' Tina questioned with frighten.

‘Not sure, but we have to trust him and wait, because we can’t do anything because of the heavy rain” replied Alex.

It rained nonstop for several hours. Not only that, but the light went out. The entire area was dark, with only a few lightning strikes. Both of them were frighten, because they didn't know anything about the area. No place to stay night. Heavy raining and thundering. Tina huggles against Alex's body.

Nearly one and half hour passed, the guest had didn't returned.

Once more, Tina started to trouble Alex “Because of your greatness, you don’t care of me, now what are you going to do?”

'Because of the heavy rain, I can't even think,' he replied.

At that point, a car stopped in front of them, and two men got out and walked towards them. Alex identified that he was the guest who promised to return with a mechanic. By the time, the rain has ceased a little.

Alex also got out of his car and approached them and opened the bonnet. 'Mechanic was not at home, he had gone to the shop, I had to wait until he returned, that is why I was a little late,' the guest explained.” The mechanic worked quickly to repair the engine and asked Alex to start the car. Everything was fine, and the car started.

Alex approached them again to thank them and pay the mechanic fee. He inquired about the guest's information while paying mechanic.

'I am from this area, I found out you were in danger, that is why I want to help you,' the guest responded simply.

Because he didn't reveal anything else, Alex thanked them graciously and handed over his business card, requesting him to contact him at any time.

Meanwhile, Tina also gets down from the car and approached to them. Then, with a charming smile, she extended her hand to the Guest and thanked the mechanic as well.

Finally, as the clock had reached 12 p.m., both groups left the location waving to each other.

The moral of the story is that as humans, we should help one another.
