Steemit Crypto Academy | Summary on Fixed Beginners’ Class | Season 3 Week 8

The 8th week of the Fixed Beginners’ Class ended on the 15th of August. It’s been a successful week thanks to all the beginner professors - @reminiscence01, @lenonmc21, @wahyunahrul and @awesononso.

This week there were a total of 101 entries on all the tasks. The distribution of the tasks is as follows;

• Task 1 had a total of 19 entries
• Task 2 had a total of 24 entries
• Task 3 had a total of 19 entries
• Task 4 had a total of 14 entries
• Task 5 had a total of 15 entries
• Task 6 had a total of 10 entries

Taken by Professor @sapwood, this task was supposed to enlighten the students on the basics of the Steem and Tron blockchains.

Observations

• Just like in the past weeks, the students mostly tried the first question in this task.
• Some students still do not under the PoB concept.
• The mean here is above average.
• 26.3% of students got Excellent grades.

Task 2

This lesson was taken by Professor @yousafharoonkhan. The lesson was on decentralization and blockchain basics and applications.

• Majority of the students attempted the second question in this task.
• There were a lot of good grades but some concepts were misplaced.
• The mean is well above average in this case.
• 34.8% of students scored Excellent grades.

Task 3

A very clear class taken by Professor @stream4u. This class covered the concept of Cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin and Public Chains.

• The students performed very well in this task.

The 4th Task was taken by Professor @sapwood. The class covered some basic Consensus mechanisms used on different blockchains.

• There were a number of misplaced concepts.
• The mean is at average. A fair balance in topic mastery.

The lesson was taken by Professor @imagen. The students got to learn about Exchanges and the basics of crypto trading.

Overall Observations and suggestions.

• Some students try to cheat the system by copying older content. Any act of plagiarism is strictly prohibited in the academy and repeat offenders would be banned.
• The students should learn to go straight to the point when performing tasks. There were some ambiguous posts during the week.
• Every student should take the time to understand the topic given before attempting the task.
