• What is Mvest?

Mvest is a metric used in the Steem blockchain ecosystem. It shows an individual's influence or stake in the Steem network, and it is important when calculating user voting power and rewards.

To have more understanding of Mvest, we also need to have a fundamental knowledge of the Steem blockchain. Steem is a decentralized social media network that allows users to produce, and interact with content and It uses blockchain technology to reward content creators with its token known as $Steem.

This is when Mvest enters the picture, Mvest is an abbreviation for "million VESTS," where "VESTS" refers to a vesting share in the Steem ecosystem. A vesting share is the amount of Steem Power that an individual has, One Mvest is equivalent to one million VESTS. And as a result of this, Mvest can be used to quantify an individual's impact on the Steem platform.

• What is the relationship between Mvest and Steem?

Mvest and Steem are connected through the concept of Steem Power. Steem Power is an individual influence on the Steemit platform. When users power up their Steem tokens, they turn them into Steem Power, therefore increasing their platform impact.

• Mvest and Steem have these connections;

1 . 1 Mvest equals 1 million VESTS, which correlates to a particular quantity of Steem Power a user has.

2 . The exact conversion rate between Steem Power and Mvest is determined by some factors such as the Total amount of Steem Power in the network and market occasions.

To get the amount of Mvest my account holds, we have to divide the total amount of Vest by one million.

For instance, my account currently has 4484.487 Steem Power, and its Mvest value can be calculated by dividing the Vest by one million: 7,886,539.527158 VESTs divided by 1,000,000 is 7.886 Mvest.

7,886,539.527158 VESTS / 1,000,000 = 7.886 Mvest.

So, therefore, it is safe to say my account currently has 7.886 Mvest.

• Assuming that your account has 35,000.00 Steem Power, how many Mvest is it equal to?

This calculation has been done previously, remember when we discuss that 1 million Vests is equal to 1Mv, and we can easily get our steem Power to Vest ratio calculation from Steemworld.

So, therefore, I will input the amount of Steem Power on the page, and check its equivalence of VESTS.

Checking the metrics, we can see that 35,000 Steem Power has an equivalent of 61,558,571.521971 VESTs.

So, therefore, we divide the 61,558,571.521971 VESTS by 1 Million.

61,558,571.521971 / 1,000, 000 = 61.559Mvest.

i.e., an account with 35,000 Steem power has 61.559Mvest.
