The curation reward will be as follows for the first 5 minutes.

• How do I check how much reward of a post has returned to the reward pool in Steem Blockchain?

At first, I visit https://steemworld.org/. Then on the "Post" section, I can check the reward that returned in the reward pool.

The total payout of that post was $23.438 in which the author received $11.719(50%) and the curator reward was $11.717(49.99%). That means $0.002(0.01%) returned in the reward pool.

• Under what circumstances a curator can earn more than 100% upvote value as curation rewards?

If any curator upvote a quality post after 5 minutes of post-age and the post receives multiple & huge amounts of upvotes, a curator can earn more than 100% upvote value as curation rewards.

Say, your upvote value is $1. You visited a post and curated it. Before your vote, the post payout was 0 and after your vote, it is $1. Let's say the post payout matures at 7 days is $4, then you will gain a 100% curation reward. Similarly, you gain 200% 400%, etc if the post payout matures at 7 days are $16, $64 respectively.^source

• Pick any random post you have voted in Steem Blockchain and indicate the time and position of your voting, what is the projected curation reward?

I have chosen a random post I have upvoted in https://steemworld.org. I have upvoted the post after 9m 3s with vote strength of 100% that weighted 0.06$. I am expecting curation reward of $0.213 which is 3.55 times ( more than 350%) my upvote value on this post.

• What is the role of curation in better content discovery in Steem Blockchain?

This must be done by a number of curators to mark a post as a 'better content discovery'. The main objective of curation is to determine quality and original post. The post recognizes its source materials, whether it is free from hate speech and qualified to spread it to the public. Once this method is followed and the post is considered curable, this type of post is called 'better content discovery'.
