Steemit Crypto Academy Contest / S7W2 - Relive Your Top Moments of the Year 2022 (about your crypto trading experience)

Asalam Alikum! I hope all members of this community are doing well and enjoying their life with loved ones and family. I pray all of your hopes and wish come true in this year 2023. Today I'm here to participate in the Season 7 Week 2 contest by SteemitCryptoAcademy. The topic decided by the team is Relive Your Top Moments of the Year 2022 about Crypto Trading and I will share my ups and downs of crypto journey. So let's start!

In the year 2022, I experienced some good moments but not the best in crypto trading because the best one was in 2021 when I invested in SAND and MANA coin and my investment got tripled. I invested $600+ and it turned out to $2200. But as we need to share 2022 crypto trading experience, I have some good ones which I will share with you.

On January 2, 2022, I bought RSR coin in BUSD pair for total of $118.784075 and waiting 5 hours to sell it. I managed to get $16.809212 profit. It was the start of my crypto journey in 2022 with RSR. The profit was not much but still it grew my portfolio. Then I invested in ALGO coin and got a small profit of $1.7. There were not much good experience in crypto trading in 2022 and I shifted my attention to learn blogging and create websites.

I again started work on Steemit and posted good content as I was learning blogging and writing at that time. I did some post and got a maximum of $0.12 upvotes with 12 upvotes. Nothing was good on my side on Steemit so I left it that I will share in my next question.

The year 2022 was not much good for most of the crypto traders except doing future shorts and margins. Same was with me and I experienced worst trading in 2022. As I told above that in 2021 I tripled my investment to $2200 from SAND and MANA coins. But then I joined a Facebook group where a so called crypto expert Faisal Baig asked us to invest in different coins and you will double to triple your investment till December 2022. Why I invested in his told coins because I noticed most of his signals were hitting the Target points and it makes me greedy also.

I invested in CTXC, BTTC, SCB, TRX, TLM, ENJ, LTC, IOTA, MATIC, COTI, DAR, GALA, and MANA cryptocurrencies. I invested almost all of my profit in these coins which I got from SAND and MANA in hope of doubling my investment. I was new to crypto world and was not aware that there is a bull run and it lasts not for months and years. Second biggest mistake of my life was to not sell them if they are 10% down because I was thinking that it will return sooner to it's original position and then I will sell it.

But as the crypto market is not with retail traders, I lost almost $1200 from these coins. It was not the end of my stupidity that I take traders on someone else asking but I then invested in AVAX coin with $691 and remaining was invested in ETH coin and took profit out from binance to my mobile account. You will not believe that I wasted all of my investment plus 2021's profit in these coins and in last I also sold my AVAX holdings for $195.9. I am still in shock that I turn $2200 to $195.9 within a year and all of this was because I did not learn Crypto first and blindly invested in it.

Now let's talk about Steemit in 2022. I started work here in 2022 again after an year. Same thing happened as of 2020 that I didn't get much upvotes and response from Steemians. I was sharing good content but in return I was getting 0 result. The maximum upvotes I got was 12 and most of the posts were $0.00, $0.02, $0.03, $0.05, and more but not more than $0.12. It dishearted me and I left steemit for few months.

What I learn from good and bad of crypto trading in 2022 is never invest blindly into any coin shared by so called Crypto experts. There is no one who can predict about any coin because market works differently and when most of us are greedy we face huge losses. Second thing is to learn about cryptocurrency as much as you can and also risk and portfolio management because it helps to gain more than losses. No one in this world can say he has not gone through loss in crypto world. So you will learn from it and with experience one can definitely gain more profit than losses.

Also I experienced that we should never be greedy in crypto world because you might have heared "Avarice is root of all evils" and believe me it is true because I personally experienced it. So my suggestion is to learn risk, emotions, and portfolio management to survive in crypto world.

I think year 2023 will be the bright year for crypto world and we will surely see BTC near 40k. Moreover, the advancement in the technology, blockchain, and AI, I think more and more people will start using Cryptocurrencies because I think it will be the main currency for most of the countries in coming years. I know it will take time to adopt it but in 2023 we will see major institutes adopting cryptocurrencies.

What I have noted down is to first do proper research of the coin in which I will invest in year 2023. I will not put all of my money in one coin but will take risk of just 10% of my portfolio in all coins. Because it this way, my profit will be low but also the loss will be much much lesser. Additionally I will try to increase my knowledge as much as I can in blockchain and AI.

For Steemit, I have a proper plan for year 2023. My main goal is to first reach 10kSP till December 2023 for which I am working. Till now I have 600SP which I gain in almost 1.5 months and withdraw 200Steem for my expenses. In start I was member of club75 but as I withdraw 200Steem so now I joined club5050 but next month I will gain be member of club75 InshaAllah.

About Steemit I think 2023 will be a good year and the price of Steem will surely increase to $0.4 or more. We have seen in this week that Steem reached $0.235 and I am confident that it will cross $0.4 till December 2023 because of the development going on and the team is working hard to make the platform better and better each day. Moreover due to the weekly contests, more people are joining Steemit so I am hopeful for Steemit growth this year.

The Year 2022 was not good for me if I talk about cryptocurrency. Also it was not good for me in personal life also. But I hope year 2023 will be the best year for me since 2018. The previous year has given me much experience in crypto trading and the mistakes I did will be in my mind forever and I will never repeat them.
