Hi steemit engagers, welcome to my page. I am here to participate in this very last week of season 10. I was delighted having seen the topic for the week. Delegation may be one term popularly heard in the community and at the same thing rarely known vis-a-vis the process of execution.
I will be attending to those questions asked in sequence just as required by the organizer. Every word shared here represents my ideology of the word Delegation in the ecosystem.
The word delegation is popularly heard from communities. They are majorly the stronghold of every startup community to enable it to reward its users or participants meaningfully. Over time, these have taken a different dimension as users now transact with their tokens for purposes of lending.
Delegation as we all know is a process of increasing the steem power of another user by decreasing your (credit and debit which comings with the debtor having the authority to reverse debited tokens from its account. The act of temporarily lending steem power to another user by increasing its influence in the community. This comes with temporary holding capacity as the original owner still wields the power to recall these steem power values.
The process of delegation starts with an intending user who wants to gift their tokens to another (recipient). I have tried this process using the steemworld.org App.
- From the landing page, you will see the Delegation icon,
- Click on it for more options.
- Then click on the Delegate icon
- Enter the recipient's username and Amount of Steem Power to be delegated and your key to process the transaction.

I have not delegated my SP to any community and as well haven't had any request for that. Though I have seen requests made by my community through its publication in the community, I have done none. Though I have intentions to delegate as soon as my Steem Power increases.
However, in the interim, I have been constantly involved in joining the community trail which I presumed to be another way of supporting the community. I have come to prefer the trail kind of support to the delegation. Trail entails that the community account uses the entire SP value of an individual user whereas delegation only uses the value delegated to the community which is mostly the percentage fraction.
If I would be delegating my SP to the community, It should be a selfless act to support my commitment to its growth. I wouldn't be bothered so long the lifespan of the community is ensured.
Asking for monthly fees simply imbibes acts of buy and sell and bot services. And I think the team does not support this service as there is no guarantee that steemexclusive posts are considered as well as plagiarized content.
This is simply because the delegator has made a commitment and the recipient is obligated to respond with the terms of rewards accordingly.
I am FOR the SP delegation to communities. The communities have continued to serve as an intermediary between users and other participating users. They naturally become an attraction to several users at a time and hence support its course which in turn empowers it to return this favor and hence to the growth of everyone is an ideal and healthy relationship.
There is something I observed about the essence of delegation to a community. We may not have the individual SP value to vote with much influence, but when two or more delegates to a particular account, it increases its SP value and hence the influence it wields while upvoting posts.
So far the delegation is tailored towards helping community participants, it is a Yes for me to delegate. It is for my growth and also the growth of the community.
I cannot be delegating to a fellow user at the first instance. There may be absolutely nothing I have to gain in return as we all expect to earn curation rewards. Delegating to the user means reducing my curation rewards.
And if I start prepping myself for a reward scheme, this may likely violate the steemit stance on issues bothering on bot services. Therefore, I am against delegating to a user so as not to violate any of the standing rules.
For instance, there are newbies who register through third-party apps like apps owned by some of the top witnesses. Most of these accounts come with a minimum of 15 SP that allows them to start publishing. At this time, I can delegate to these users prior to when they recover and adds value to themselves.
In conclusion, delegation is an act of building a recipient account for the purpose of organic growth in the platform. Just like the saying, together we rise, and divided we fall. Delegation brings about the togetherness of SP which in turn increases the influence value of a given community or user. However, we have to avoid abusing the process and promoting bot services that are characterized by plagiarism and non-steemexclusivity.
I would like @eh2288, @yakspeace, and @xkool24 to join the contest.
Good work presentation. I also stand with delegation as it has impacted communities more in its day-to-day growth and function to all users in the domiciled community. It functions on this adage that United we stand tall and divided we fall. As more SP fragments are combined, they become big and create more user value via upvotes.
Good luck with your entry

Esencialmente el apoyo a las comunidades a través de las delegaciones fortalece el poder comunitario, su influencia y el crecimiento orgánico del ecosistema, lo que mejora el sistema de recompensas.
Saludos y éxitos en el presente desafío.

Exactly, it comes with influence. It is a feature that allows us to galvanize strength centrally and support ourselves. But it shouldn't be abused when in use.

Delegation is a way to foster growth and unity on a platform. It increases the influence of a community or user. However, it should be used responsibly to prevent abuse and the promotion of bot services. Best wishes
