Today our main goal is to present a detailed summary of the competition which took place from December 25 to December 31, 2023, marking the fifth week of the Steemit Engagement Challenge of the fourteenth season. The event went off without a hitch, and the credit goes to the exemplary professionalism demonstrated by our academy members, contributing to the overall success and smooth execution of the competition.

This report aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the data and feedback collected during this period, focusing specifically on your active participation in the Steemit Crypto Academy community-run competition. The main objective of the competition was to assess and measure your knowledge in the broad areas of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.

In the fifth week, the competition focused on the exciting topic of trading basics of the STEEM/USDT pair. Attendees were encouraged to delve into this topic, exploring its intricacies and implications in trading.

In this competition, our esteemed participants were assigned the following tasks:

• Using the MACD, how can you identify a buy or sell signal for the STEEM/USDT pair? And what do the upper band and lower band in the Bollinger Bands for the STEEM/USDT pair indicate?

Trading Strategies:

• How can the combination of RSI and moving average help determine entry and exit points for STEEM/USDT? And how could a trader use the Stochastic Oscillator to confirm bullish or bearish trends in the STEEM/USDT pair?

Risk management:

• How important is a stop-loss when trading STEEM/USDT, and how can it be set based on technical analysis? Why is it essential to diversify positions when trading the STEEM/USDT pair?

Fundamental Analysis:

• What fundamental factors should one consider before taking a long or short position in STEEM/USDT? and how can external events, such as announcements related to STEEM or stablecoins, influence the trading of the STEEM/USDT pair?

Leading Indicators:

• Apart from commonly used indicators, what other leading indicator could be useful to analyze the behavior of the STEEM/USDT pair? and how can trading volume be interpreted to predict future movements of STEEM/USDT?

We were truly impressed by the high quality of the content submitted in the entries, serving as a clear testament to the dedication and expertise exhibited by the participants. Notably, several contributors took part in our crypto competitions for the first time, and this inaugural challenge proved to be a significant stepping stone, offering them a valuable introduction to our platform and community. The diverse perspectives brought by these newcomers enriched the overall competition experience, emphasizing the inclusivity and welcoming nature of our engagement initiatives.

As part of this week's evaluation, several significant observations were noted, providing detailed insight into the diversity of performances within the competition. In particular, five posts stood out by obtaining a rating of Excellent, thus representing a notable share of 36% of the total messages evaluated. This recognition highlights the exceptional quality of these specific contributions, highlighting the exemplary expertise and commitment of the authors.

Furthermore, the majority of applications, 43%, were assessed as being of Good quality. This result represents the highest score ever recorded in the history of the competition, reflecting the consistency and general progression in the level of participation. Additionally, 14% of the posts were rated as being of Medium quality, thus adding additional nuance to the diversity of performances observed.

However, the transparency and integrity of the competition was also preserved by reporting a post for plagiarism. This highlights the importance of maintaining high ethical standards and promoting originality within the community.

In short, this in-depth evaluation highlights the richness and variety of participants' performances, while highlighting aspects requiring particular attention.
